The large master bedroom connects to its own bathroom and master closet. The house has a split bedroom plan, with the guest bedroom on the other side of the house for privacy. The guest bedroom is close to the guest bathroom. Recently remodeled with beautiful granite kitchen counter tops, new luxury vinyl plank flooring, bedroom carpets, and granite countertops in bathrooms. This home is professionally cleaned in between tenants. You get the whole house as the rental, and it is a permanent short term rental property, catered to renters who want to get away to Mount Dora or be close to Orlando, and feel like they live in the community, without breaking the bank. The home is equipped with a full size washer and dryer, 2 Satellite TVs, Internet (Wifi in whole house), Desk, electric, water, and basic amenities. Basic amenities include the starter kit of paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, tissues, and other small items. If you stay longer than a week, then you will want to go shopping for your own supplies after your starter kit is gone. However, this rental is set up so that you just bring your clothes and personal items and enjoy a long Florida vacation like you live here. No smoking, no pets. Close to everything. One week minimum rental in the beautiful country club setting.

This is an active living community, offering snowbird memberships to many amenities such as golfing, tennis, swimming, and more. The community is run by the Country Club of Mount Dora. You'll pass the clubhouse on the way to the house. Their restaurant is open to the public. More information about memberships are on the Country Club of Mount Dora website. Or if you are visiting Central Florida, this is a great location to visit many attractions, especially close to historic Mount Dora. Families are welcomed.

The Country Club of Mount Dora is located in the rolling hills of the Lake County golf community in Lake County, Florida, only 50 minutes northwest of downtown Orlando. Adding to the overall playing experience and beauty of this picturesque Lake County golf course, water was built into its design by the Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design team in 1991, and it comes into play on 16 holes. The raised greens are guarded by strategically placed sand traps and water, and offer a challenging target for both the accomplished player and the recreational golfer alike.

The drive to Orlando is about one hour, having a chance to enjoy Disney World, Universal Studios, Epcot, Wet n Wild, Sea World, Adventure Land, and many other theme parks. The Orlando International Airport is also about 1 hour away. We use Sunpass for tolls, which I would highly suggest you but/rent. Go to their website for more info. Also, our grocery stores and pharmacy stores sell these sunpasses. You will have to activate them and transfer money to the account.

On the other hand, driving to Daytona Beach is about a 1.5 hour drive and is a very nice beach. Tubing, Canoeing, or swimming in Wekiva River is only 30 minutes away.

If you want to go boating, you can rent a tour or a boat in downtown Mount Dora. Take a tour through the famous Mount Dora Canal and see alligators, Blue Herons, Turtles, Osprey, and other wildlife among the cypress trees. Or just walk around downtown Mount Dora enjoying their boutique shops and restaurants.

Walmart is about 3 miles and is great for groceries and personal items you may need for your stay. In that same area you will find lots of restaurants, Aldi's, Starbucks, and other essentials. Lowes hardware store is 1 mile away.
