About this property

York Beach Walk to Short Sands and York's Wild Kingdom

Great cottage on a quiet dead end road, located between Short Sands and the Nubble Light. Five minute walk to Short Sands one way and Brown's ice cream the other! First floor has living room, dining room, sun room, kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower and laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a small porch off the back and a patio with table & chairs, Weber gas grill and gas firepit. Upstairs has two bedrooms.

Large private yard, most of it on the side of the cottage; with enough room for a family cookout and parking for 3 cars.

There's a gas heater on the main level for those chilly off season nights.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. We provide blankets and pillows but you **MUST BRING YOUR OWN BED LINENS AND BATH TOWELS**

Great Location, Spotless Cottage, Excellent Hosts

We spent a few weeks at the cottage and it was absolutely perfect. The location, the home itself, and the outdoor space all exceeded our expectations. Being within walking distance to both Short Sands and Long Sands made it easy to get around, whether we had the car or not. Communication with the owners was smooth and responsive, and the cottage was spotless upon arrival. We truly enjoyed our stay and are already planning to come back next year!

Love this cottage!

We’ve stayed in York Beach area before but this cottage was perfect for hanging out with family, either in the main living area, the porch or the lovely back patio. The ground were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place!

We had 3 teens and 2 adults. Location was great, we spent most of our time at the beach. About a .6 mile walk to the Nubble lighthouse which was perfect for a morning walk with a cup of coffee. The house was very well stocked. The only downside was a lack of AC. Fans were in every room, but with the heat wave it was warm!

The area was beautiful and house was perfect for what we needed it for. Didn’t get to enjoy the area as much as we wanted since we were part of a softball tournament. But the over house is very nice and area is just beautiful!

Houston extended family 1st visit to Nubble Light

Booked this for my uncle and his daughter and 2 children ages 11 and 14 for two nights. They loved it, went to Nubble, Short Sands beach, Lobster Cove and a good time was had by all. I'd recommend this cottage it was clean, and location was stellar. Loved the little back patio with its gas fire pit, we made s'mores with the kids...
