Great location for four family with two teenagers. We enjoyed buying small items from the local bodegas, walking down into the busier parts of town through the neighborhood, spreading out into the backyard and having breakfast at home. We brought Nespresso pods since we knew the coffee machine needed that.Would be ideal if the manager sent the check in forms a week in advance. That is my only complaint.There’s also a fancy boutique hotel very nearby where we enjoyed wine with a view from their patio one evening as well. Overall, I wish I had booked here for my return night in Lisbon - it’s close to the things you want to see but far enough to be local.

Very nice place to stay; no coffee provided at all, no paper towels though there was an empty holder for rolls, no napkins of any type, the only factors keeping it from 5 stars.The garden is a pleasant space and there’s a nice cat that comes over the wall to visit. I’d stay again (hopefully coffee provided) as it’s a sweet neighborhood, quiet, at the top of a hill.

It was well cleaned and the host company was for the most part communicative. The amount of room in this apartment was great. We did like the back courtyard area. It is odd that there are no paper towels provided and limited hand towel options for the bathrooms. We ran into a couple hiccups, the power went out and we were only able to get it to stay on by leaving off the switch that houses the outlets in our bedroom, so unable to charge our phones in our room. While someone was responsive with some suggestions on how to mess with the breaker, no one was sent to fix or address the power issue. Something to keep in mind, you are at the top of the hill, to get to the main square/ocean, you have very steep hills or an aggressive amount of stairs. There is a little market right down the street that does offer luggage storage if you arrive early.

Issues with check in. Property manager refused to share check-in instructions until 3 hours before arrival. Coming from Seattle, 17 hour travel, did not want the hassle of poor internet, etc. to keep us from accessing unity. I tried to explain this multiple times but they were inflexible. This went against the VRBO/reservation which stated we would get instructions 3 days ahead of time. Minor issue with coffee maker, no coffee capsules, and no support from management on what kind specifically to purchase. Minor because it's just a coffee maker. But, if you advertise a coffee maker I would assume there would be coffee. Otherwise, what is the purpose. But most annoying was unwillingness to help in any way. They insisted this was not a hotel so they were not required to do anything. Absolutely horrendous customer service! Space had a heavy musty, mildew smell. Typical for an old building. Maybe air it out a bit? Some doorways were short. Watch your head.LOVED the outdoor space. Clothes washer was good and then to dry outside. Also, with door open, made the place feel much bigger.Very roomy for two people.2 bathrooms were good. Location - good. Funicular out of order so be ready for much walking up steep hills to get to Avenida Liberdades.Loved the neighborhood. Uber will drive right up to the apartment.

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le jardin ombragé et son calme malgré la proximité du centre-ville. Prévoir de bonnes chaussures pour visiter Lisbonne, le quartier est en pente et les trottoirs un peu glissants ;)
