Beautiful spot in Alfama especially the view from the top balcony. Very clean & great amenities. Beds were comfortable & it’s a large space. Please note you do have to go up 3 stair cases. Overall we enjoyed our time in Alfama & the hosts were very responsive. We could have used an extra fan as it was very hot when we arrived. The apartment is charming but in a very hilly part of Lisbon. Our family of four with adult children enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, the property is lovely and the location was great. Very comfortable beds and nice hot showers. There are quite a few stairs to get up to the unit but we managed.

Great location for nearby restaurants and shops. The Saturday (&Tuesday) market was a block away. You have to be good with hills and stairs to stay anywhere in this area, but it's worth it!

Beautiful apartment in historic center of the city. Hilly as Lisbon is in general. People with heavy luggage will find challenging to clime to the third floor since there is no elevator as for all historic buildings. Overall very pleasant experience, we had a very good time in Lisbon. Thank you for hospitality!!!

Very nice apt in the old part of Lisbon. Loved the winding streets, cozy restaurants and friendly merchants. Supplying more than one kitchen towel and/or paper towels would be nice. We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely apartment well situated in Alfama. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Well-appointed and comfortable. Would not be suitable for people with mobility issues as several flights of steep stairs to apartment, but was fine for us. Good communication from host.

Don’t let the climb through the neighborhood and up the steep stairs fool you - what awaits at the top is a gem of an apartment! The space was very clean and comfortable. My family of 5 (2 adults & three teenage girls) stayed comfortably in the summer heat. The a/c and fans worked great. The location is close to some small shops and great restaurants, and also a short walk to the train station that we arrived on. Communication with the host was easy, and the washer & dryer were a rare find (and greatly appreciated). My only caution is that the stairs can be difficult to navigate with suitcases and the keys to the door can be tricky and easily forgotten. Take their advice and always leave a spare set in the box downstairs!

The apartment worked great for us and our two teenage boys. Lots of room and two bathrooms were a plus. The main room upstairs unfortunately is not closed in or very sound proof but overall the stay was incredibly comfortable and we greatly appreciated all the homely creature comforts the host thought of which most hotels would not have. The view of the Pantheon lit up at night from the balcony is superb and we felt very safe and comfortable at this VRBO. We would not recommend this VRBO though to seniors or anyone who has difficulty with stairs due to the apartment being up 3 flights of steep steps.
