Perfect location! We walked everywhere and got lost a few times in the best way possible!! The apartment was clean and comfortable. We are missing Portugal and its friendly locals, wonderful food and rich history.

Absolutely excellent host, very welcoming and went above and beyond to give us a good stay. The apartment is a cute little place very well located for exploring the city. Couldn’t have asked for any better. We loved the location so near to the hustle and bustle, yet tucked away enough not to be disturbed by noise. The Juliet balcony is so picturesque for enjoying your morning coffee before heading out to explore a city that just keeps on giving. The steep steps into the apartment and hilly location mean you need to be a little agile and the shower cubicle is small, but absolutely worth every penny and highly recommended. Thank you Claudia, we had a wonderful stay.

Delightful place to stay and Claudia was a superb host, very responsive and attentive! It was clean and equipped with hotel-like amenities and kitchen appliances. This place is in the heart of Alfama which is quite hilly. If you have a lot of luggage or heavy luggage, consider booking elsewhere as access is only by foot — the apartment is on a walking path, so you must carry your luggage either up or down extensive stairs from the street to get there.Plenty of bars and great restaurants all around, as well as close to many historic sights. There is an excellent tapas restaurant just 20 meters from the front door with a surprisingly extensive menu.

The location is right in the Alfama area close to everything. There are tram stops, train stations near by and several major historical sites within walking distance. Claudia was super helpful and we had a wonderful experience.

First, the taxi was not allowed to enter the street to the apt, so we had to drag 50 lb luggage and backpacks each , over uphill cobblestone. Then over 38 stairs to get in the place. Stairs to the apt were so narrow , had a hard time gettingluggage up.The apt reeked of a musty smell, it was awful. It was so small, no place for our luggage. The cleanliness was minimal. There was trash outside on the stairs., Very dirty,found the pics were very deceiving . Would not recommend!

A Hidden Gem

The apartment was just as described and ideal for our needs. The central location in the historic center made it perfect for sightseeing and put us close to many, many restaurants. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

This was a very clean and well equipped apartment for our stay. We liked the location and the restaurant just down from us was very good with bonus of several sopranos to entertain.

The property was mostly clean. Massive dead roaches in ceiling light gave us a scare. Shower was mouldy and super small. We barely fit and was okay for 3 days. Getting there however is a different story. Parking is not included and not anywhere close. It’s a good 15 min walk and 20 euro daily at cruise ship terminal. You really have to pay attention to host’s instructions and follow the ‘uber’ route. Don’t bring anything more than a carry-on. We chose to stay there because it’s in a very old part of town and the location didn’t disappoint. You are right among locals!

Alfama!

The steps are steep but the apartment has whet we needed for a short stay. The bed is super comfy, almost didn’t want to wake up! There were some shops nearby to grab some essentials and everyone was kind and helpfu! Great stay. I want to come back.

Lisbon first time visit

Centrally placed, small but well- equipped apartment in historic Alfama. Easy access to all city attractions and for travel beyond. We had 4 nights stay which we thought was enough time to see the City and its attractions. We can recommend the apartment and would likely stay here again on a future visit.

Great location in Alfama

If you can't manage stairs then this is a problem. We found the accommodation great and well provided with everything we need. There was even a gift of wine and cookies for us upon arrival.We really enjoyed our stay and would use it again should we visit Lisbon in the future.

Hi, we love the area. Toilet seat was broken. Needs new pins to hold toilet seat in place. Tap in kitchen needs tightening. Mattress needs replacing. Gave us both sore backs. Tv didn’t work in bedroom. All in all we enjoyed our stay. People in the area were friendly and we felt very safe. Very nice city.

Lovely flat in an excellent location in Alfama.

The flat is clean and tidy in an excellent location in the Alfama area of Lisbon. Communication with the owner was efficient and informative. Lisbon is a lovely city to visit, but very hilly. Make sure you like walking!

Wonderful Lisbon apartment

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates glasses and a variety of appliances. We were within walking distance of many shops and great restaurants as well as historical places. One recommendation is to bring good walking shoes. This area is very hilly.
