Our host Cheryl was so amazing! Her home in Old Historic Louisville was perfect for our trip to The Derby. The location was perfect and in a quaint neighborhood. I would highly recommend this location!
Cheryl is a wonderful host, attending to all of our questions and needs. The suites were well stocked and nicely decorated. The house itself is a wonderful old property to stay in. We would definately stay with Cheryl again.
Cheryl is an absolutely gracious host - so welcoming and kind! The two spaces were perfect for family and the backyard was a wonderful place to sit and visit.
Cheryl was a fantastic hostess, she went above and beyond to make our stay special. She was helpful with all our activities. Would definitely stay here again.
This was our second stay at this location. The host makes sure you have everything you need to be comfortable....bottled water, coffee pods, toiletries if forgotten. Great location. Short drive to many attractions downtown. Also very clean. Would definitely stay there again!
This historic home was easy to access, comfortable and quiet. A bit off the beaten path a quick uber to the hustle and bustle of downtown. We enjoyed our stay and Cheryl was a great host. We would come back.
We had the most wonderful stay in Cheryl’s apartment! The property is exactly as described but even better in person. The furnishings are homey and comfortable yet, elegant too. Cheryl has stocked the apartment with everything you may need from a toothbrush & toothpaste to coffee pods & chilled bottles of water.
This two bedroom second story apartment is lovely. Near several attractions and a short drive to downtown. The backyard is very charming. The host was very nice and meet us at the house went we arrived.
The owner met us at the door and showed us around which was nice, description was accurate. Location was upstairs and private in a historic home built in the 1890’s all nicely updated. Beds were awesome. The location for jumping off to anywhere was perfect. We would stay again.
We stayed here with another couple and this was a perfect stay. We each had our own suite and Cheryl thought of so many details. The garden is beautiful and this historic home is well cared for.
The home was secure, safe, and clean. We highly recommend staying here. Be sure to look for the history of this property that is in the rooms in a presentation binder. The history was great to learn about.
I visited Louisville with my sister and another friend -- we rented the entire second floor (two separate apartments). Cheryl was an amazing host -- she greeted us upon our arrival and answered questions quickly. Can't say enough about her hospitality. The apartments are beautifully appointed and super clean. The kitchens were equipped with absolutely everything we needed. If you're looking for an Old Louisville experience, this is it!! Thank you, Cheryl, for making our stay so memorable...
Great location, very nice property manager, and very nice units. Easy on street parking and clean. One minor complaint and one suggestion. Minor complaint...there are 2 TV's in each unit, but nothing on them...no cable or even antenna for just local channels. They are smart TV's, so if you have any of the streaming services, you can log-in yourself, would just be nice to have something on them. Suggestion... upgrade the mattresses. They are thin and pretty soft. As soon as you lay on them you're pretty much laying on the box spring. Did not get great sleep any of these nights we were there unfortunately. Would stay there again if better mattresses for sure, and overall good experience.

Thank you for your review. All TVs have Spectrum Cable on them with hundreds of channels. I would have been happy to show you how the TV's work if you would have asked. I will look into changing the king mattress. It seems that people with a larger stature aren't as comfortable as others sleeping on it.
Cheryl was an excellent host! Everything was perfect and very easy. We loved our units. The beds were very comfy and cozy. We had the unit with the king bed. It was so roomy and quiet. She even had Keurig coffee pods for us to use. Her back yard is so pretty too. There is a gas grill to use with an umbrella and table to sit at. We would love to come visit again ! Very interesting area with lots to do and see. She has the history of the house in a binder in the unit. It was fun to read about. You will not be disappointed if you rent one of her rooms.
This was a great property located in a beautiful historic district. It was centrally located between all of the attractions - Churchill Downs, U of L, downtown and NuLu neighborhood and just 10 minutes from the airport. The house was very clean and well kept and perfect for two couples. The owner was great to work with. I would definitely rent this property again.
First of all, owner was so sweet and provided great communication! Second, the rooms are so beautiful and comfortable!! Felt like you had your own little apartment! Location is so close to so many places to check out and enjoy while in Louisville. Highly recommend!
This place is a true gem. It is in a central location close to downtown, Churchill Downs, etc.
The accommodations were perfect with very comfortable bedding, high quality linens, towels, etc.
Cheryl was an amazing host and makes the room feel so much like home.
If you are looking for a centralized location from which to see Louisvillle, look no further!
We were impressed with the size this rental, basically it is 2 small apartments, which was nice for two couples. We enjoyed everything and would stay here again! The apartments are quaint and homey. Location is on a quiet historic street, although some airplane noise being close to the airport. Not too much to eat in a walking distance so we did have to drive or Uber all weekend. Everything was as expected and Cheryl was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed being tourists in Louisville, thanks Cheryl!
Our stay was great! Cheryl greeting us at the door and showed us the properties which was 2 small 1 bedroom apartments. Beds were very comfortable. Cheryl had everything you need for your stay including great linens, towels, toiletries, etc. She responded well to our questions. Cheryl decorated very nicely. I would certainly stay at this property again!
We enjoyed staying in the little apartment-like rooms of this old brick home. We enjoyed the architecture of the neighborhood and remembering its glory days. The rooms are super clean and efficient for a stay. The beds are AWESOME! Super comfortable. We even did a little cooking in the kitchen and enjoyed a meal in at the counter bar while watching TV. Had everything we needed. Will stay again.
This place surpassed our expectations. Our host thought of everything, our rooms were immaculate, and she was so welcoming. The beds were comfortable, and no amenities were lacking. We had no problem finding on street parking, and there were bars and restaurants within walking distance. The home is beautiful and yard lovely. We will definitely book again for any future trips to Louisville for concerts and events.
We had a wonderful stay in Louisville at this beautiful property! The house is gorgeous!! It was well kept, clean, and all the little extras around the house added such a special touch. The backyard is a beautiful spot to sit and have morning coffee or enjoy an evening cocktail. And Cheryl is an absolute doll!! The house is located close to everything that we wanted to do so it was easy for us to drive or get an Uber/Lyft anywhere we needed to go. We loved our stay here and can't wait to come back for another visit! Thank you!!!
