This little apartment was extremely well outfitted, clean, comfortable, and very spacious for a single traveler. Great communication by host and close to Laurelhurst Park (one of my favorite places to jog in Portland) as well as several good eateries.

Lovely little place

We enjoyed our stay here and thought the place was cute! Nice and up to date, in a great location, with plenty of street parking. Charles was very attentive and quick to respond if we had any questions. Would stay here again!

Great location, well stocked as a home base for our ventures into the rest of Portland. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed some shared watermelon after a hot day out and about.The location is walkable to the neighborhood restaurants, cafes and bakeries, and located on a central bus line (20, that receives frequent service). Amenities were very welcomed, and enjoyed staying at this getaway.

Love this house and grounds

Such a wonderful time at The Getaway. House is super clean and I’m a great location. Close to wonderful restaurants and shops and in a great walking neighborhood. I was there through a nasty snowstorm and the fireplace was so welcoming when I came back from work.

Great place!

It is very clean and nice! Exactly as advertised. A good size for two but definitely big enough for four. It is pretty centrally located with coffee and food options nearby.

Fabulous, welcoming space!

This was the perfect mix of a location that is so close to everything, yet quiet and well appointed. Wonderful kitchen, living room big enough for family game night, and a beautiful garden right outside to enjoy your morning tea or coffee. We would definitely recommend our very responsive host, and this immaculate space.

Stay at the Getaway, Portland

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Getaway. It was a lovely place and perfect for the two of us. We werent there very much during the day, but when we were at night, it was quite peaceful there, and it had everything we needed. Highly recommend, Alex and Charles were both great, and Alex especially was available if needed. Thank you!

Christmas visit

This was a return stay for me, while I was visiting my daughter's family nearby. Charles is a thoughtful host, who shared some of his holiday baking with me. The neighborhood is quiet and the parking easy. The apartment is roomy, well heated with a heat pump, and well supplied. A very comfortable stay in good location.
