The houseboat was amazing! It was incredibly serene and quiet, making it a wonderful place to relax. We were not far from Aalsmeer, which is a lovely town to explore. We took taxis to Hoofddorp, where we could easily hop on the train to travel around the area.The houseboat itself was spacious and comfortable to move around in, and both the beds and couches were very comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the houseboat to others.There were two concerns worth mentioning. The exterior door had swollen and was extremely difficult to open. At one point, it took us 15–20 minutes just to get the door open. When we contacted the hosts, they weren’t particularly helpful and simply said that other guests had not complained about it.The other concern is the staircase leading down to the bedrooms. The stairs are quite steep and there is no handrail, which could be difficult or unsafe for anyone with mobility or balance concerns.Despite these issues, the peaceful setting and comfortable accommodations made the houseboat a memorable place to stay.
