Lovely homey stay

Appreciated the real house plants! And the snacks on arrival were a plus! Loved being able to walk to the beach and enjoyed the hot tub. Definitely a great location to enjoy Smith River and the Redwoods. Lovely little weekend get away.

We had a great stay at this location. The home is a bit dated, but it had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the hot tub, the back yard, the large dining room and kitchen tables, board game selection, nice supply of towels and the laundry room.

Redwoods and the coast

We took mom, kids and grandkids ages 6yrs to 91 yrs to see the redwoods and NorCal coast. The house and yard were exceptional. Everything you could need. Wish we could stay longer.

Beyond anything and everything you would need for a vacation stay!!

Owner Mike was very responsive and right on point. Property was beautiful, huge and was perfect for my family members. Owners definitely go out of their way to make it very accommodating and well stocked. Including outside hot tub, fire pit, both inside and outside games, crab traps, bbq, etc. Very roomy for family gatherings and fun.Plenty of room for xtra bedding for kiddos. My kids, spouses and grandkids enjoyed their stay. Very safe place, close to everything including the beach. Thanks again Mike and Stacey.

Nice Coastal Escape

Our party enjoyed our stay here. Hot tub was great and there were plenty of toys and games and beach equipment to entertain the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils. The house was clean and the walk to the beach was not far at all. The host was very accommodating and had thoughtful touches, even leaving a bowl of snacks for the kids out. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

The house was a perfect fit for our family. It was clean and had all the amenities one could ask for. The yard was perfect for the dogs and kids to play. The outdoor games, the fire pit, and the hot tub made a perfect ending to a fun day.

Crescent City get away

This house is amazing. The house was clean, well equipped and had comfortable furniture. Our dogs loved playing in the big fenced yard while we enjoyed the spa and fire pit. It was really nice to return to the house after a long walk on the beach or in the red woods.

Our favorite home away from home.

We love this property. This is our third stay here. Mike is great and available if we need him. The fenced yard is perfect for our dog. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit and love the hot tub! We have family nearby and we gather here to cook or bbq and visit. Beds are comfortable and living room is spacious with plenty of cozy seating. We’ll be back for sure!!!

Redwoods Vacation

We really enjoyed our time here. It had plenty of room for our large family. Lots of areas to play games & do puzzles, the back yard area was a huge hit with the hot tub, fire pit and horseshoe pit. The kitchen (and whole) house was very well stocked. The only issue we had was the main bath’s shower faucet was a little tricky and seemed to just need replaced. It was very centrally located to all the activities we had planned.

If your aim is to visit the redwoods the home is perfectly located. We found the home comfortable, roomy enough for 4 adults and 3 children. Amenities provided were excellent, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses, and the required cooking tool. It is located close to a wide variety of restaurants and groceries stores. If, in the future we were to revisit the area, I would happily stay again.

Why they chose this property

I like the small town feel rather than a big city. There is virtually no crime in Crescent City. It's a small community driven by our wonderful tourist.

What makes this property unique

The ocean is about a 3/4 of mile down the road. A short stroll at dusk will have your jaw dropping to the ground with our beautiful SUNSETS on Pebble Beach
