Experience in-town living with oversized outdoor space and lawn. Only a 10-15 minute walk to Main Street, this historic home offers the convenience of an in-town location with the outdoor space usually reserved for other parts of the island. The home has two decks and an expansive yard. A patio, updated landscaping and new outdoor furniture with fire pit create the perfect outdoor space for families and entertaining.
New central AC and on-demand hot water were also recently added.
Also convenient to mid-island amenities like the Stop-n-Shop and the chicken box.
A large welcoming kitchen opens directly to the dining room. The living room includes a working wood burning fireplace.
Bright and airy master bedroom with vaulted ceilings. Oversized 2nd bedroom features a queen bed with ample storage and closet space. Two loft bedrooms, each with two twin beds, complete this in-town home.

Owner was very accommodating, friendly and responsive with some questions. Convenient and short walk to town (15 min). The only thing I’d clarify is in the description of four bedrooms, two of those are a shared situation in the loft. Pleasant stay for Stroll 2025!

Fantastic stay at Cherry On Top! Perfect for our girls trip - a quick walk to town (and the Chicken Box) meant no need for a carto fight the headaches of in-town traffic. 2 full baths plus an outdoor shower were a huge plus when getting ready to hit the town. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the outdoor seating was beautiful. Zach responded quickly to any questions I had and provided a super helpful info packet to be sure our stay was successful. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

This property was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was so convenient to the bike paths, Roasted coffee, stop n'shop, and other island gems. So clean and comfortable! The beach chairs and cooler were extra nice touches to make our days enjoyable. Hard to beat the beautiful backyard and surrounding beauty. Thank you so much to Zach for an easy booking process.

Classic Nantucket

The house was very comfortable yet had character and evoked the early days of Nantucket. Great safe outdoor space for kids to run and play. Convenient location. Heads up to bring your own toiletries, as there wasn’t shampoo or body wash. Beach accessories that are provided would be great in the summer.

Lovely family house

The place was great for our two married children and their children. Bigger than the pictures show. Large back yard with everything you would need! We loved the outside shower, plus having three showers was great when getting ready for dinner after the beach all day. Perfect!

The house was convenient to town and to the beach. The backyard was beautiful and our kids enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor shower. The upstairs bedrooms are not suitable for adults as the staircase is steep and the ceilings are very low. Some spots in the house were in need of repair. Overall, we enjoyed our time in the property.

Wonderful Stay!

Lovely home with a cottage feel! Very clean. House rules were well communicated and simple to follow. Zach was very responsive with the few questions we had. Location was great - short walk or bike ride to town one way and short walk or bike ride to grocery store the other way. Our trip was only 2 nights with some rain so we did not get to enjoy the outside amenities nor did we cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. We had 4 adults, just be aware loft has very steep steps and 2nd bathroom shower is very small. That aside, we would stay there again!

Place to call home while on Nantucket Island

Great communication. Location was walkable to town within about 15 minutes. Very very clean. Steep steps to upper level so be aware if you have small kids. Nicely configured for multiple couples traveling together. Although we did not cook kitchen appeared well equipped. Guest rules are quite reasonable. Would stay again and would recommend.

Nantucket paradise!

This was my first time to Nantucket and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The house was perfect for our group, it was a perfect mix of character with modern updates. The backyard was paradise as well! It is a short walk out of town and conveniently located next to Cumberland farms. I can’t wait for my next stay!

Such a great spot, especially if you are looking for something walkable to town (less than a mile). The backyard is a hidden gem. Zach was very helpful and easy to communicate with, not that we needed much since the house was in great shape and had detailed check in list. Fully stocked with beach chairs/gear as well. Highly recommend!

House is perfectly described. Stop and Shop and Cumberland farms super close by for groceries. Quick 10-15 min walk to Main St. House is stocked with all amenities needed for vacation (coolers, beach chairs). Cute house with amazing outdoor space! The house is perfect located and easy to walk to town. Zach was a great host and very responsive. Do note the two "bedrooms" upstairs are not really suitable for adults since the ceiling is so low.

Alexa, thanks for the nice review. To clarify, the two upstairs twin bedrooms are in the eaves of the house so have a sloped ceiling as you will find in most historic houses on Nantucket. The ceiling height in the center is 6.5-7ft.

This was the first time that we rented on Nantucket. We considered a few properties but we could not have been happier with this house! It was clean, cute and we loved the backyard space! It was in a great location within walking distance to the Island Kitchen (amazing breakfast) and a stone's throw from Cumberland farms and 15 minutes to town. The owner was a pleasure to work with and always very responsive to emails and inquiries. We definitely plan to stay here again!
