Treetop Cottage is a unique and tranquil 2nd floor private guest house just a short walk from downtown Mount Dora. Equipped for short or long term stays with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, private work space, walk in shower, roomy closet, BBQ and private patio. This 600+ living space and 65+ ft private driveway is perfect for couples, cyclists and boaters. Located in the historic district, close to downtown, Lake Dora, the Lighthouse and Boardwalk, Donnelly Park, Renningers and the Mount Dora Trail. *This is a smoke and pet free cottage.

You'll enjoy a carefully curated art collection from the late Carmine Ballarino, an award winning art director from NYC.

Quiet and convenient

We came to see the Christmas lights and it was so nice to have the Treetop decorated too! We parked and never had to drive until we left. Food, shopping and lakes are wirhin walking distance. Very safe, too. We enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at the treehouse. Excellent location to walk into town and charming neighborhood. The apartment is very clean and well stocked. Excellent hosts and they checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to returning!

The Perfect Get Away

The Treeetop Cottage was Absolutely Perfect! Immaculate cottage for All your needs. Location was easy and in close proximity to the heart of the historical district. Short walk with a beautiful stroll surrounded by beautiful homes. John and Alissa we’re available and responsive with any needs or inquiries. Definitely will be Back! Perfect stay! Amazing Place!

Tree top was perfect for my weekend visit to Mt. Dora It was impeccably clean, charming, inviting and wonderful. Alyssa left a book with points of interest, and clear directions for anything needed. Extra linens were provided, kitchen condiments, utensils, etc. The living space was inviting, comfortable and spacious. I loved the entry with the hall tree, and desk space. The bedroom and bathroom were just as clean and inviting. One of the features I enjoyed the most was the courtyard in the evening with a glass of wine. Alyssa was very quick to respond to questions on arrival, pleasant and a great host. I would recommend Tree Top to anyone and look forward to another visit

Home Away From Home

Perfect in every way!! EVERYTHING you will need and more for your stay. Perfect location. Just a short, leisure walk to historic, downtown Mt. Dora. Extremely quiet neighborhood. All the dishes, silverware appliances, linens and towels we needed. Just like home. Alissa and John were available, if needed. We didn't need a thing. They have taken great care in making a relaxing, care free stay. The cottage is immaculate. There was great detail in the design. Easy to find, easy to check in and check out. Can't say enough about the Treetop Cottage!! They even provide coffee cups that say Treetop Cottage!! Wish they sold them as souvenirs!! When we visit Mt. Dora again, the Treetop Cottage is the only place we'll stay!! D & S Williams
