WE CANNOT CONTROL IF GOLF BALLS ENTER OUR PROPERTY!

**** We have surveillance cameras on the property to insure property and guests safety. There are 2 outdoor cameras that face each door on the decks and a door bell camera that covers the driveway. There is an indoor camera that is portable and kept in our locked area, The indoor camera is only hooked up when the house sits empty.

Constructed in the Old Nags Head style of the 'unpainted aristocracy,' this house, known to friends and family as 'The Buckeye Beach Inn,' is filled with surprising amenities.

Featuring a pool larger than the ones at most hotels on the Outer Banks and multiple expansive decks. The perfect family getaway. We are proud to be offering it as a vacation rental!

There is off street parking for 6+ cars. A detached garage serves as a pool room and bar, complete with flat screen tv, casual sitting, pool table, and bathroom. This means you can have tons of fun without worrying about waking anyone up!

The huge, sprawling, multilevel deck overlooking the golf course surrounds the house and ascends to the massive swimming pool on the lower level. There is plenty of outdoor seating (four picnic tables with umbrellas), chairs and loungers. The pool is completely private and sheltered from the wind by an outer wall.

We have two outside showers, one enclosed, and one on the pool deck. In addition, there is a charcoal grill.

The main level of the house is a large open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, and den with two sofas and large flat screen tv. Three of the four bedrooms and two baths are also on this floor. Two bedrooms feature queen beds, one bedroom features a pyramid bunk (one twin, one double). There is also a small office area with desk, perfect for surfing the web with our free wi-fi.

Up a small flight of stairs is a second large den with dining area and wet bar. Off to itself, it's the perfect place to put, or escape from, the kids. This room has two sofas, a 42 inch flat screen, and dining table.

The master suite is located above this area on its own private floor, accessible via spiral staircase. This spacious room, with king bed and flat screen tv, has a private balcony with ocean and golf course views. It's the perfect place to sit at the end of the day with a beverage, or to watch the sunrise over the ocean if you are an early bird. This room also has its own bath.

Place was nicely located near the beach. Had a great time. There were a couple of hiccups, but the host gave us an extra night/day to accommodate. Suppose to checkout on Sunday but were allowed to stay until Monday. Pool was great for kids to spend time while not at beach since this was the week of hurricane Erin.

This property was perfect for our group of guys on a golf trip. The property was ready to go upon our arrival. The quick access to restaurants, shopping, golf, and the beach was excellent! Between the darts and pool table in the garage to the large deck and pool area this house had everything we needed.

Property and pool was clean. Cool garage to hang out in with kids and family. Pool was great and around 10 ft deep. The stairs going to Master Bed room is a little hard to use. It is a spiral stair case so if.you have weak legs or balance might not be for you. Let a younger person stay in Master bed room. Nice place and plenty of room!

We enjoyed our vacation here so much! Having a pool was a highlight. The kitchen was beautiful although the cookware was sometimes challenging. The mattress in the bedroom closest to the family room was tough for 2 people to sleep on - it seemed a little sunken in the middle, but overall, these 2 minor issues did not dampen our stay. This was our 2nd summer in a row staying at the buckeye beach inn since we loved it so much last time. Same great Host, we had a horrible heatwave while staying and the upstairs window unit was struggling and cutting off. We messaged the host and they had a maintenance guy out same day to replace the unit. Couldn’t ask for a better host or spot to stay for a week at the beach!

What makes this property unique

We love this property because it is so quiet and secluded, yet close to all of the action. The pool is huge, and therefore a gathering place for most of the other families we know that are vacationing in the area. There are so many different spaces to enjoy, including massive upper and lower decks, but especially the detached game room. Perfect for late night without waking the early to bed relatives. We also love how we can feed so many people. There are tons of places to entertain.
