Family-friendly Close to Mohican - furnished 3 BR with deck and a fire pit

** Clean towels and linens will always be provided for our guests however you are also welcome and encouraged to bring you own bedding and pillows if you wish. Please let us know at least a few days prior to your stay if you would be more comfortable using your own and we will store all of our bedding out of your way.

Room for the whole family just minutes from hiking, canoeing, riding, fishing, go-karts & so much more! All the fun of camping without camping this fully furnished 3 BR 2 Bath on 2 wooded acres features a deck for grilling and a fire pit for smores.

Welcome to Stony Hill! This cozy ranch-style home is nestled on a hilltop amid 2 wooded acres. The master bedroom has a queen bed with attached private bath. There is additionally a common bath open to the house. One smaller bedroom features bunk beds and the other a twin.

The kitchen is fully furnished with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee pot along with all the cookware and utensils to prepare and serve most any meal. There's even a dishwasher and laundry for for easy cleanup on extended stays.

There is a gas grill on the deck and a fire pit in the yard complete with seating area that's perfect for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows or for just hanging out around the fire.

* Please note that this is a rustic home in the woods where things live. Be aware that there are spiders, mice, snakes and other pests all around and they do find their way in the house from time to time, despite my best efforts. The house is regularly treated with pet-safe methods and you will see that there are traps in various places. Infestations are one thing, and all reports will be taken seriously and dealt with immediately, but if you can't deal with seeing one mouse, or a couple spiders in the house, please DO NOT book this property!

Nice place for a get away

The property was as described. It was nice having everything we needed without having to lug it all from home. It’s a bit a off the beaten path but that’s just what we were looking for.

The place was very clean , it has a Roku TV that gets many channels. Kitchen was stalked with necessities but could use more than 4 forks. The only thing we had to bring was swim towels for when we went out

As someone who loves the outdoors, I loved this property. Perfect for my girlfriend and I with her two kids to meet halfway between Illinois and Pennsylvania for a long weekend. We all had a blast!

Camping with a roof

Overall the family was very pleased with how it felt like you were camping. Lots of wildlife around, loved the wooded lot surrounding the home very peaceful. Grandkids loved looking at all the different insects and plants that the woods had to offer.

Charming, Rustic Quiet Retreat Cottage

Three friends seeking a restful weekend get-away found just that in this cottage. It had everything you needed for a weekend away but some of the furnishings and amenities could use updating. We really appreciated having two full baths and three bedrooms. It was super accessible to both Loudonville and Millersburg. Our host was super responsive and helpful.

Property was very dirty , broken down pick up truck in front yard , windows so filthy you couldnt look out ,grease on oven hood , dirty pan in dirty oven , broken toilet we couldnt use, ants everywhere inside, deck is nasty and front porch is a law suit waiting to happen. Property needs major care

Beautiful outdoor area and everything you need inside

My only wish was that it did not rain the entire weekend. The outdoor area was beautiful. The firepit looked very welcoming. I wanted to have a campfire so bad but the weather did not allow. The home had everything we needed. We had an issue but the homeowner fixed it right away. Thank you!

Quite and peaceful.

Nice yard space. Stayed 8 nights. Beds comfy. Nice kitchen space. The spotty internet is true, there are some games and DVDs, i would suggest bringing some of your own if possible. We did watch some that were there while it rained. The owner of the home is very attentive. There is a public pool- Loudonville public pool, not far- very clean large pool area, the consesion stand prices were lower than we expected and so the entrance fee.

Great property but no water fir showers

We love the location. The amenities were great. We enjoyed grilling and eating out on the deck. The firepit was so nice at night. One draw back there was not enough water pressure to take showers. We stayed here last year and had the same problem. I assumed they had fixed it. They had not. That was disappointing.

The place was very homey. It rained the whole time we were there so spent most time indoor. It is very spacious and comfortable. Well kept. There pretty much was scattered at best Wi-Fi but that could have been because of the rain. Actually it created more time for conversation and other stuff. Making cookies, decorating pumpkins, etc. Owner was very communicative and flexible.

Mohican Fun

We chose this location because we didn’t want to be packed in with people & brought our dog along. Clean, big kitchen & lots of room to hang out. Favorites were bathroom skylights & fire pit. Very chill !

Peaceful Getaway

The cottage was more spacious and location was better than pictures or description can convey. Clean and very well equipped. Outside area was huge. We would definitely recommend staying here. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Short get away with family

Houses in excellent location Easier to find Granddaughters had a little problems with the ants and bugs in the house but you're in the woods you gotta expect that Overall they had A-blast with the campfire The backyard and the deck was awesome. We would all stay here again if the opportunity arises to go floating down the river again.

House was just as advertised! The small touches were nice. Jar of jelly as a welcoming gift, snacks provided, hammock and various other amenities were on site. Close to Mohican. Host was welcoming and had great communication.
