This much-loved coastal village is renowned for its breathtaking sweep of golden sand, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Yorkshire coast, alongside a welcoming pub and a friendly coffee shop – all adding to its relaxed, traditional seaside feel.

Completed to a high standard in Spring 2026, Longshore has been thoughtfully refurbished throughout, blending modern comfort with cosy character. Outside, the property benefits from a front garden and a private driveway with parking for one car, as well as a generous, fully enclosed rear garden – perfect for relaxing, dining outdoors, or letting dogs roam safely.

Step inside and you’ll find a warm and welcoming home. At the front of the property is a cosy lounge, furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs gathered around a wood-burning stove – ideal for snug evenings after a day exploring the coast. A second snug offers an additional sitting space, complete with its own wood-burning stove set into a beautiful brick fireplace. A small step leads up from the snug into the bright and inviting dining area, where you can enjoy meals with lovely views over the garden. The modern, well-equipped kitchen adjoins the snug and includes everything needed for a self-catering stay, with a door opening directly out into the garden.

Upstairs, there are two beautifully presented bedrooms, each bursting with colour, character and charm. One bedroom features a comfortable double bed, while the second offers a king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made up as twin singles on request, making the Property Referenceeal for couples, friends or small families. A stylish modern shower room completes the accommodation.

Longshore sits at the top of Runswick village, with the sandy bay waiting at the bottom of the hill. The beach is dog-friendly all year round, making this an excellent choice for guests holidaying with four-legged companions.

Runswick lies directly on the Cleveland Way, a spectacular coastal walking route that links some of Yorkshire’s most iconic seaside destinations, including Whitby, Sandsend, Staithes, Robin Hood’s Bay and Scarborough. The nearby coastline is rich in dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, fossil-hunting beaches and picturesque fishing villages, offering endless opportunities for exploration, photography and fresh sea air.

Inland, the North York Moors National Park is right on your doorstep, with its rolling heather moorland, peaceful valleys, historic abbeys and charming market towns. Whether you’re drawn to long walks, cycling, wildlife spotting or simply soaking up the scenery, the moors provide a stunning contrast to the rugged coast.
