About this property

My little slice of paradise on Okaloosa Island

Ask about SNOWBIRD RATES....Starting @ 1900 with discounts for multiple months. Venus has so many repeat guests each summer they wish they had never shared the secret of Venus by the Sea.

The living room has a sofa sleeper, so this is perfect for the parents and two small children. Your patio has a beautiful view of the pool courtyard and your walk to the beach is about 150 yards away. This unit DOES NOT have a beach view. It has a fully equipped kitchen and linens provided. If you like to be away from the crowds this is the place for you. It is on the gulf side of the beach. There are restaurants and shops within 2-5 miles but the beach is not as crowded as Destin. NO PETS, NO SMOKING OF ANYKIND IN UNIT & PLEASE DON'T LEAVE EXCESSIVE MESS. FYI, all reviews before Sept 2021 were with a different management company. I now self manage and have received all 5 star reviews. Also I have a 5 star rating on the other platform.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We loved the location! It wasn’t crowded but still had a lot of fun things to do close by. The owner was very nice and responded to any questions in a timely manner. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was so clean and very nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the patio and the pool..we were less than a 2 minute walk to the beach . We didn't want to leave!

This is obviously a budget, older unit but overall stay was awesome. 1 min walk to the beach. Could get rid of the carpet... but other than that I wouldnt change a thing.

Nice older condo steps from the beach

Older condo, fine for 2 nights for 2 adults and a teenager, but the mattress on the fold out couch badly needs replacing, my daughter slept on the couch itself instead. Condo needs a bit of updating, but was worth the rate we paid for it. Walk to the beach was easy and there is a shower and hose on the backside of the condo to wash off when you return. Pool areas was nice and it was a lot less crowded than Mirimar Beach where we usually stay.

Great value and experience

We stayed 8 nights at the Venus condos unit 207. It was very nice and clean. The carpet and furniture was in new condition and very comfortable. The bedroom was very clean and inviting as well with nice decor. The unit was very roomy and felt like home. The kitchen had everything you would want and the balcony overlooked the pool. I was also surprised how with how close of a walk the beach was. We were very happy with the property and would recommend to anyone. Donna was great to work with and quick to reply by text.

A pleasant time for the entire family

The entire family had a great time. From the early check-in, for planning dad To the short walk to the beach, for relaxing mom. To the pool, for our little mermaid To what my teenage son called a "great condo" Every member of the family was pleased with our stay.

We had a great stay at this property. Donna was friendly and provided us with valuable information about the area. The property was clean and had everything you needed. I was pleased that the owner game us a heads up about bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags to eliminate the need for purchasing those upon arrival. The beach was easily accessible and not very crowded. My only wish was that the water pressure in the shower was stronger. I have long hair and it makes it a bit of a challenge to get the soap out. I would definitely stay here again. It was a pleasant experience!

We spent 4 nights and this property was great for our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids). Clean and comfortable. Near but not on the beach (just a short walk). There is a laundry room on the premises but no change machine.

I worked for the Venus management company for over 10 years. When I saw how much people love this place I wanted to own a part of that. The beach is my FAVORITE place to be. It's the only place I can truly relax. I want people who come and stay in my unit to feel relaxed and refreshed at the end of their stay. I know many people who stay here have been coming for years and I hope that my unit will become a favorite of yours too. I have a 4.8 rating on other platforms.

Why they chose this property

I cannot say enough about the family atmosphere. There are people who made friends as kids in the courtyard and now they are bringing their children. In this small environment people make fast vacation friends, unlike the large condos where you only pass by people in the hallways. Since it doesn't have a beach view it is more affordable but you still walk the same distance to the beach. Who really sits in their room all day "looking" at the expensive view anyway?
