This Beachfront Gulf Winds Resort unit includes 1 BR, Living room, full kitchen and bathroom. Located on the beachside of the complex, it includes an outside table and chairs on the ground floor where you may enjoy your coffee. Located just steps away from the soft white sands of St. Pete beach, it is also in the heart of the district. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a full size futon in the living room so the unit will sleep 3-4. It is located on Upham Beach, very near Paradise Grill where you can walk over and grab a bite to eat or drink. The complex also offers a Beachside pool.
The unit is located within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and bars. In addition, you may access the transportation services of "Free Beach Ride" from this complex that will almost completely eliminate the need of a car. Guests always say "perfect location", no awkward hike to the beach, its right there! Location, location, location!!

Loved that the beach really was just across the street. Quiet area but lots to do within a couple of blocks! So nice that beach chairs and an umbrella were in the closet!! We loved the place! Perfect for relaxing!

St. PETE Getaway!

Loved the condo! Everything was just as advertised. Perfect location whether you wanted to stay at the beach, walk to get food or a snack and centrally located to drive where ever! The parking permit was great and we alwats had a place to park having the "permit parking" at the condo! Will stay again.

Jim our host was great to communicate with.His condo is super clean and is only steps from beach. We did not rent a car, his gem is walking distance to everything. Highly recommend this piece of paradise, it’s our second time staying and will book his place again.

NICE ST. PETE BEACH VACATION

This was a nice and comfortable condo to rent just across the street from St. Petersburg Beach's Upham Beach. The TV and Air conditiiner worked well. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was big enough to cook your own meals! Nice furniture and bathroom, too. I would recommend to all beach lovers!

We were familiar with this condo complex. Good location. Wifi was not great this was frustrating. Property was newly painted, nice bedding, couch needs cleaning. This is a very nice unit to rent.

Had an issue with connecting to the WiFi. A map of the facilities ( where the pool, laundry are located would be extremely helpful. Great extras such as sand chairs and sun umbrella were available Great location!!

Great location

The location was perfect, there was chairs and umbrellas for going to the beach. We had an issue with the wifi and Jim got back to us and helped us solve the issue quickly. If you are someone who likes to hang out at the place you’re staying a lot this may not be the place for you, there’s a lot of hustle and bustle in the area due to the proximity to the beach but if you’re looking for somewhere to lay your head this place is great.

Where to start. we made it super early since the apt is in front of the beach to take advantage and take some sun before check in. Parking was $20 for the day and i send a message to see if we could park earlier and they were very accommodating, we were told we could check in if we wanted to, it was 10 am! The apartment had everything you could need, including all beach items (even hats). very clean and comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay. We plan to return soon and planning to stay here every time I am in St. Pete. Thanks for making my birthday weekend so special!! :)

Misrepresented property

Property not on beach- pictured used is across a 4 lane parking street and is not connected to the rental property. There was no running water when we arrived so we called the host who over our stay never answered the phone or called back but e mailed. It took several hours to get water back and he never inquired how we were or what he would provide if water stayed gone. No closet in bedroom, limited room in closets, shoddy condition of ceiling/ wall paint, front welcome mat broken in two pieces, a piece of paper covers the small window on the front door, outside table is broken and top cracked. Location of St Pete Beach is excellent but it would never be a place i would use again and I doubt I would trust VRBO to provide a listing as they are not vetting . for accuracy and honesty. Last years host in Gulfport was excellent, but 50% isn’t good enough, Charles Shayne

Great location, tired furniture

We were there over a very cold snap, so didn’t get to enjoy the fantastic beach right across the street. It was quiet- although if you go during spring break, I’m not sure you’ll find the same! You can walk to many restaurants and bars which is nice; the complex is 2 streets from the noisy main drag which is also a plus. The unit itself has everything you need; plenty of towels and a closet that had some chairs. We didn’t use them, as I said, it was so cold. We were pleasantly surprised to find a king bed in the bedroom, not a queen as the listing says. No closet in bedroom to hang up clothes…. I’m a little bit of a germaphobe so take this with that in mind: there is no dishwasher, which means that all the mismatched glasses, dishes and silverware have been washed by the previous renter. There was also a lot of food items (like coffee, open bag of sugar, powder creamer, etc) that have been left by previous renters. Good-bad? You decide. The furniture (at least the couch and easy chair) is tired and really needs to be replaced. The TV is tiny; and being that it was cold, we spent more time indoors than we would have watching TV. It was big enough for our needs. Complex has been there for many years, so it’s on the older side.
