About this property
Hawaiian plantation-style home, perfect for families.
Old Hawaii at its best! Enjoy the updated traditional home nestled within a fully enclosed and private one-acre tropical estate! Chase the keiki (kids) or grandkids on the spacious lawns, or just enjoy the many tropical trees and plants—coconut, banana, mango, ulu (breadfruit), red ginger, and much more. Look for small fish or turtles beneath the overhanging tree branches above the private stream. Savor a relaxing breakfast on the spacious lanai in the morning viewing the scenic Koolau mountains. Relax after a day at a favorite beach just minutes away watching movies on the 75 inch TV. Play pickleball whenever on the full-size private pickleball court! Share the fun with emails or facebook on wifi. If the nine foot ceilings, ceiling fans and lanai do not keep you cool enough on the hottest days, then cool off with the A/C. If a comfortable, relaxing, beautiful and private Hawaiian retreat is what you want, this is the place! No matter how long you stay, you will wish you could stay longer!

My family and I loved our time here. The house is clean, spacious and had everything that we needed. The ocean is a short walk away and the mountain views from the huge front porch were gorgeous.
We spent 7 amazing days at the house with 8 guests. Our visitors ranges from 4m-70. The house had plenty of space for everyone as well as was so comfortable. We were all able to be at ease during our stay. 100% recommend this stay and would stay again ☆☆☆☆☆
The house is incredible, location is great if you want out of the big city light and sounds. The only thing that caught me by surprise is it’s a shared property (I may have missed that part when booking) luckily the other family that stayed on the property was friendly and quiet. Would definitely re book this.
Wonderful, spacious, Hawaiian plantation style home
Our family of six adults had a wonderful time staying at this home on Oahu. The home was was comfortable, spacious and clean. The only downside was the distance to the activities we participated in, but we were aware of this. Options for eating out close to the house are primarily food trucks. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of this location versus Honolulu. We had a great time and appreciate the hospitality of this home.
We had a 2yr old so just had to watch him closely because of the stairs & stream in back but other than that it was perfect! I especially liked waking up to all the birds talking & singing. This is in the country so no traffic sounds. View of mountains was beautiful & beaches were spectacular & just a very short walk away. I would stay there again & recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the city.
This home was a great place for a larger group. It is in a wonderful location and the views are stunning. The owner is very responsive. For example we asked about beach mats they had listed that we couldn’t find and within 30 minutes they had brought them to us. Two of the AC in the house were out, but they provided a solution that worked out for our group. Highly recommend this property!
My wife and I and our adult children and spouses loved our stay here (left all the grandchildren home with the in-laws). We rented the Plantation house and the adjacent 2-bedroom home as well. We spent 5 nights in Kauai at a very large 6,000 sq ft home before coming to our Hauula home and most of us enjoyed our stay here even more. It is homey and comfortable and quiet with a beautiful yard to enjoy. The pickleball court was a great added surprise. It is close to some great beaches and to the fabulous Polynesian Cultural Center. All 11 of us enjoyed gathering together on the plantation house lanai. Maddie was very attentive. Loved our stay here.
Amazing home, perfect location, surrounded by indescribable beauty!
This home is amazing! Our group of 8 enjoyed our entire time here. It is located in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We took daily 5 minute short walks down the road to the beach for sunrises. The home is very well equipped with anything you will need! They have beach chairs and towels as well. The location was perfect and it is a short 5 min drive to Polynesian Culture Center and about 15 min to Kualoa Ranch. There are food trucks and fruit stands near the house as well. The home is very clean and well organized. We hope to return to Oahu again soon and will be planning on staying here again!

Aloha Rachael! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay!
We had a larger group and the property was perfect. The yards were great for the kids to kick around a ball. The manager was around every day so if there was anything we needed, it got taken care of immediately. Our only issue was that the showers would not stay warm. They would cycle between too hot and too cold. It was something they were not able to fix for our stay. I would definitely stay there again though, if i went with another large group.
The house is exactly what you would expect based on the photos and description. Everything was clean, clearly labeled and so organized. It definitely made staying in a new place such a breeze.
There was plenty of space for the family to be together and enjoy one another’s company and and out of the home.
This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 9. More than enough room for all of us.
We loved our stay here. We were able to enjoy time together without being right on top of each other. We enjoyed the nice deck and the back yard. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. The large island was awesome for serving meals and plenty of storage. All appliances were great and worked perfectly. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and family who travel to Ohau. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place!!
We stayed here for a week with kids and adults ranging in ages between 13 - 70. The house is an open style and has a ton of room for everyone. 2.5 baths makes a huge difference and the outside space is wonderful. It feels secluded but is very close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and BYU Hawaii. Everyone had their own space and we all came together for movie nights and dinners together. I absolutely recommend booking this property!
Adam's place is a great location on the east side of Oahu. Minutes away from the Polynesian cultural center and also the Kualoa Ranch. Directly across the street is a beautiful beach to swim. The house also has a pond in the back as well. Overall great place to stay and will stay again next time we visit! Thanks Adam!
We absolutely loved the stunning mountain views from this house! The property was beautiful and so well kept. The layout of the house, the cleanliness, the amount of space, the provisions were all so perfect for our group of 7 (and easily could have handled a couple more). This house was amazing in so many ways- it is a perfect location for exploring the north shore towns and beaches without a long drive. We knew we didn't want to be at a resort or in crowded Waikiki, and we got a real feel for the island from this home base. Great local grocery nearby, local food and food trucks are not far either. We didn't want to leave. We will be back!
Awesome air conditioning! The 4th bedroom being outside of the main house was a little worrisome, especially with 2 twin beds intended for a child’s room. The one child in our group did not want to be so separated from his parents. So he slept on the futon in the living room, not ideal.
Great kitchen. It is in a fairly quiet neighborhood, nice surroundings, beautiful views. Very nice owners. Would recommend this for a family.
Where to start? Adam was extremely every step of the way and easy to communicate with when any questions or issues arose. The property is absolutely beautiful! Our group had two kids, and they loved waking up early to see the roads and snails, we even had a night heron visit us on the dock for our week-long stay! We hope to visit again soon! Thank you for such a wonderful, unforgettable stay.
My family and I absolutely love this property we have stayed in the house twice so far and we looking forward to our third trip back. The house is clean, very spacious and the grounds and the view of the mountain are majestic. I also have to give a shout out to the property manager and the owner for making you feel like Ohana.
Everything went perfectly with this rental, from check-in to check-out. Property was beautiful, views astounding, close to many, many beaches, and delicious food trucks! Would definitely recommend!
