My Oh My Waiohai

Waiohai in Poipu is the best place to stay in Kauai. This was our second time staying at the property and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Would totally stay here again when we come back

Location is great, best beach. Pools are good size. Full size kitchen. Very clean resort. Really like that they allow you to store your luggage, give you access to showers and a relaxation lounge after check out, very convenient for those late night flights. Beware their marketplace store is pretty pricey (ie$8 for a bag of chips).

Beautiful Kauai spot great location!

The only thing that was disappointing is we were placed in the furthest corner unit from the pool and ocean with view of parking lot after choosing a more expensive per night listing thinking we would avoid that and be placed in a more desirable location and out look. A learning experience.

Hi Lynn, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your disappointment with the placement of your room. We looked back at the messages you had with our agent and there was no request for a specific view. We hope you enjoyed your vacation, despite that, and made many memories in Kauai.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay but we were slightly disappointed when we arrived to find the “ocean view” we paid for included two full public parking lots with a sliver of ocean view. Not what we were expecting but a hospitable place and nice location w beach access.

Great gathering space for family

We recently stayed there with my daughter and two grandsons (ages 4 and 6). The condo had everything we needed (including a washer and dryer.) The grounds are beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the free water aerobics classes. Great restaurants are nearby. My expectations for a wonderful and satisfying vacation were met.

Great week in paradise.

We loved everything about the property. The staff, the location, the size of the rooms, the amazing view and the quality of the beach that’s just right out the door to the room. Would highly recommend to a family or group that needs multiple bedrooms and a large living area. We would love to come back for another visit.

Very Nice Property

We had a great experience here. The only downside was we were put into a room that overlooked a parking lot with the ocean in distant site although it was "ocean view." The front desk was very accommodating and put us into a different room with a little bit better of a view but still pretty set back from the ocean. The room was really nice and clean. I like the setup. Kitchen and living room in the middle and bedrooms with a full bath off to the side. The deck was nice as well. The resort is beautiful. Really nice pools and beach on site. Also, the gym is really nice. We did not get housekeeping daily which was kind of a bummer. Overall the experience was great though and we would stay here again. Mahalo!
