Easy check in and beautiful property

We had a blast staying here. The check in was super easy and it was so cool having a pool right outside our door. Clear communication with owner and clear instructions. We will be coming back

Family vacation

Property was dated, but clean. A family resides in the connected house that shares the backyard/pool. They never bothered us, however did open the blinds one day. Overall quiet and safe vacation for our family.

Our Stay on South Padre

The communication with the property manager was excellent, the check in process could not have been any easier. The property was in a nice location. our initial impression walking into the property was that we may have been the first guests of the season or it sat idle for awhile. It was clean overall, however it was quite musty.

Memorial Weekend Vacation

I recommended using the rental property management group, Kevin was excellent with his communication. I would not however, recommend this particular property. We knew the property joined the owners due to other reviews listed, no one had issues. The issue we had was that the pool was shared with the owner while we were in the pool which made it akward but tolerable. Then they had invited company over with them along with smaller kids that came to the pool while we were in the pool. The loud screaming and playing of the kids, the music and the loud conversations made it difficult for my family to enjoy the space. After getting out of pool because of the above to relax and watch a movie, the noise continued, making it difficult to even enjoy the inside space. Again, would of been fine if knew ahead of time or had some sort of shared schedule with the owners, idk we have never had to deal with this before and we do VRBO alot. It would seem that if you rented your space out, that you would be considerate enough to not have your own company while your house was rented. The boat dock was closed (being remodeled) and couldn't use the boat split (those things we knew prior to going and were disappointed but okay with.) We rented this place for 4 nights and left after the 1st night and found another rental for the remainder of our trip. The listing should really be specific on how shared this place really is so that other renters don't feel uncomfortable like we did.

Fun Stay

Great place to stay. Owner was very nice. My kids loved the pool and I loved sitting on the deck and watching the fish jump. It was a short walk to the beach. Great location.

Convenient

Lots of room with convenient pool. Decor is antiquated. Entryway is through the laundry room, so would be difficult for anyone with a walker or who needs extra space. Bringing in luggage was a hassle. Dock has many rotting planks and is hazardous for anyone looking to fish. Boat slip is occupied.

Property was cancelled on us

2 hours before check in the management company called and cancelled on us. Apparently the owner had torn apart the house to do construction and hadn’t communicated to them that it wouldn’t be available. Frank’s rentals put us into a different property.
