This property more than exceeded expectations! It was nicely kept and the hummingbirds and the bubbling creek were a nice surprise. The cabin was stocked with all the amenities of home and more. We were able to both cook meals and do baking. The beds and bedrooms were quite luxurious and plentiful! At night we were able to see a bounty of stars that we don’t see at home. We highly recommend the property and the very friendly and fast responding owners. Would love to stay here again if we return!!!

Beautiful property, peaceful and relaxing, but also conveniently close to downtown Idaho Springs and I70. The listing was clear that there was no air conditioning, so my only complaint is why were there no window screens to allow the fresh mountain air to cool down the house. Upstairs and master bedrooms were uncomfortably warm for sleeping.Other than that, everything else was wonderful. The house was clean, organized and well appointed with attention to every detail.

Beautiful location and a beautiful property. The home was very clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Shampoo/cond/body wash in the showers, tissues by the bed, make up towels in each bathroom and a "pantry cupboard" in the kitchen with spices, oil etc. So many thoughtful touches. Highly recommend!

Only reason this isn’t a full 5 star review is because we had to cancel upon arrival due to an issue at the property that was out of owners control. They were extremely understanding, and very prompt to give us a full refund. The place looked amazing outside of the issue preventing us from staying. I wanted to still leave them a positive review bc of how absolutely awesome they were to deal with. If we return to Idaho Springs in the future I will be looking this place up to see if it’s available.

This cabin is much cozier and more attractive than its photos. We loved the earthy decor and the many sitting areas both inside and outside. Unfortunately, because of changes in the local law, the gas firepit outside had to be removed which took away from that sitting area. It was nice that there are few steps to the entrance and that there was a bedroom on the main level for one member of our group with balance issues. The wooden steps from the main level to the basement have warped some over time which made them a bit challenging for someone with mobility issues, although there are hand rails on both sides which helped. The steam shower on the main level was a favorite. Also loved the number of nearby hiking trails and the closeness to Idaho Springs. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.

Amazing place!

We loved our stay at this property. The property was even better than advertised and is close to so many outdoor activities. We saw lots of wildlife around the house and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Close to the town of Idaho Springs with lots of good restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back!
