About this property

Downtown Historic District Gem w/ Courtyard + 3 King Beds by Lucky Savannah

Feel like a true Savannah native when you pull up to this clapboard home. The foyer with main staircase greets you as you wander throughout the first floor. A first guest bedroom with King bed is just to your left - perfect as a mother-in-law or teen suite. Just down the hall, guests will find a full-size bathroom, with a walk-in shower. Continue on, you'll find the dining room that seats six. The kitchen is ideal for entertaining, as it's fully equipped with every culinary necessity and is open to both the living room and dining room. Kick your feet up and watch the game in the living room, filled with ample daylight from the outside. A door to the private courtyard is just right and is the perfect spot to barbecue and enjoy the sounds of the city.

Upstairs you'll find the remaining two bedrooms, one as the primary and the other a guest room with en suite bath. The primary has a King size bed, two full closets, and balcony access off of the bath. Enjoy soaking in the jetted tub after a long day of exploring the city. A flat screen TV can be found in the armoire. The guest room is opposite the primary suite and also has a King size bed and flat screen TV. The bath has a tub/shower combo and beautiful views of historic downtown.

Prospective guests should be aware of a neighboring beehive. The honeybees keep to themselves on the neighbor's second floor rooftop and are harmless, however guests with bee allergies should be cautious.

This unit has on-street parking - one side is metered and the other is non-metered in the area. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 85 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.

The living room, den, dining room, and kitchen provided homelike areas to enjoy family time. The home was clean, nicely updated, and well maintained. It was too cold to walk a long way, but it’s a decent area to access a lot on foot. I would recommend the house as well as Lucky Savannah Rentals.

Lovely, comfortable house. We enjoyed being able to cook breakfast in the nice kitchen before heading out for the day. Easy walkable location to downtown Savannah and an easy drive to Tybee Island.

Great location! Convenient to all the historic parts of Savannah. Spacious rooms and home. Had some issues with the tv. Pillows on all the beds were quite small for king sized beds and very hard. Would have been nice to know that there was a parade on Saturday and the street was used for staging floats & cars for the parade, made it a little difficult getting out on Saturday morning. Overall, we would stay here again as the location was great!

The house known as Charming Charlton was comfortable for our stay with plenty of space for the four adults on this weekend trip to Savannah.The microwave wasn’t working, the couch cushions are torn and the condition of the home was well-worn (needs new paint throughout and a deep cleaning - chairs, floors, showers). The house was well suited for our needs, though, and we enjoyed all Savannah had to offer from this central location.

Very nice home

This property was a very nice, clean house, true to the pictures. It is located in the historical district which was very convenient to all sights. We enjoyed City Market, Prohibition Museum, Ghost Tour and just walking around. Food was excellent in the restaurants we went to... Thank you again for your lovely home...

Very comfortable for 6. Beautiful home, would definitely stay again. So convenient to downtown Savannah and Forsyth Park. Easy walking distance to everything. A Kroger is nearby for any food or personal needs. One suggestion: better maintenance of backyard and property would be perfect.

If there was something this place was lacking, i don't what it could be. It was centerly located, nothing was more than a 15 min walk. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and spacious. Would stay here or with this company again
