Want to see videos of the changing seasons at our cabins, or keep up with the latest cabin upgrades? Then find us on Instagram @ Alpineliving_

The Nordic Pine is built high on a 30 foot bluff and boasts one of the best views of the Peshastin Creek. This cabin is surrounded by lush overhanging branches and nestled amongst the thick trunks of Douglas Firs and Evergreens. Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, the ever-changing scenery of wildlife, and colorful seasons can all be enjoyed from the comfort of your living room. This ski cabin was constructed in 1981 to stay warm during the coldest of winters and is one of the original cabins built in this rural recreational community. The cabin’s rustic character has been carefully preserved, while striking a balance with modern upgrades and contemporary improvements.

SPRING AND SUMMER
The main attraction from your cabin will definitely be the river, which on most days is crystal clear and beautiful in color. REI river chairs are provided for the enjoyment of our private beach and property, as well as a complimentary river cooler to keep your drinks cold. In early spring you can watch rafters and kayakers fight rapids from the comfort of your deck. In late summer the river is lower, but perfect for soaking your feet and cooling off. We also have several picnic tables around our property for enjoying cabin cooked meals while taking in views and sounds of the river.

WINTER
When winter arrives, the trail down to the river becomes our famous sledding hill, where you can bring your own sleds or use the complimentary ones we provide. We offer snowshoe rentals ($10) so you and your family can explore our property and the famous Ingall’s Creek Trail only minutes away. Never snowshoed before? That’s ok, you will find a snowhoeing book in your cabin for beginners to advanced and every rental comes with a free lesson. ❄️ Although our driveway is always plowed and well-groomed, vehicles with AWD are strongly recommended during the winter season. *No snowboarding or skiing allowed on the property*

NEIGHBORHOOD AMENITIES
We are one block from the neighborhood community playground that includes swings, slides, picnic tables, basketball court and baseball diamond. You will also have access to a spring-fed swimming pond during the summer months. As mentioned, we are five minutes from the famous Ingall's Creek Trail which is excellent for scenic hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and horseback riding. This trail is easy-moderate and follows the gentle roar of Ingall’s Creek along it’s entirety. At the trail's end you will find the breathtaking Lake Ingall's and the base of Mount Stuart, which is the second highest non-volcanic peak in the state.

LARGE GROUP
Looking to have a more private couples getaway with your friends or have a large family? Rent both of our cabins! The other cabin is just a short walk away, but each cabin has it's own complete privacy. The listing for the other cabin is VRBO 887428 (Little Wolf Den).

*NOTE* This cabin is perfectly designed to be small and cozy, but also have everything you need to both live and work comfortably. A majority of our guests are single couples or families with children. This cabin can easily accommodate two couples, but it will be on the cozy side. Ladder-like stairs lead to the loft bedroom with queen size bed. Also, please note that access to the bathroom is through the downstairs bedroom, this is good to keep in mind for any nighttime restroom needs. If you are elderly or have any mobility issues these notes might be good to consider. Some outdoor road noise due to proximity to Hwy 97. I live on the adjacent lot in the cedar home and am usually available to provide any assistance during your stay.

**PET RULES**
We are so looking forward to hosting you and your furry family members, however we do not allow pets to be left alone in the Nordic Pine Cabin uncrated.** If you do not have an indoor travel crate, not to worry! We have (2) large indoor crates on-site for your furry family members during their stay. The dog crates we provide are suitable for even large dogs up to 90 pounds and come equipped with a protective leak-proof plastic pan and premium mattress bed. *We do not allow cats to stay in this cabin* 🦁

*CANCELLATIONS*
We allow cancellations if they are more that 30 days out from your date of arrival. However, we recommend purchasing Travelers Insurance for any unexpected event, inclement weather, forest fires or emergency that may arise less than 30 days before your check-in date.

Hi, my name is Sherry and I am retired from the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce media relations department where I had the pleasure of working closely with companies such as the Travel Channel, National Geographic and Good Morning America to help increase the visitors coming to our little town every year, so if you have any questions or would like any suggestions for places to eat or explore I would love to help during your stay.

Why they chose this property

During summertime our property below, feels like your very own private water park, plunge into the refreshing pool next to Otter Rock and let the rapids swiftly carry you back to the private beach to do it all over again! (No lifeguard is on duty so please use river at own risk and with parental supervision.)

What makes this property unique
