Seaside Tranquility! The mesmerizing Atlantic Ocean panorama is the perfect backdrop for your morning coffee and relaxing any time of the day. This home offers UNOBSTRUCTED VIEWS from the living area and each of the four bedrooms. Everything is tasefully furnished. An upper level deck is the ideal spot to bask in the sun while a shaded deck on the main level offers a relaxing spot for soaking up the ocean breezes. Both decks overlook the pool and ocean. The pool area has a dining table, lounge and deck chairs. There is an outdoor hot and cold shower to wash off all the sand before enjoying the pool or entering the house. A propane grill is available for outdoor cooking. Newly remodeled bathrooms feature tile showers and tub. The upstairs bonus room with love seat and game table provide an additional hangout space. A large family dining table and an adjacent bar offer numerous eating arrangements The well equipped kitchen has all you need for cooking and entertaining. All house Wifi is provided and includes the pool area. The HDTV flat screen TV in the living room provides standard cable, local channels, sports, and a free Netflix account. All bedrooms have HD smart TV’s (non cable) and include a free Netflix account.

Family friendly Holden Beach is known for its beauty and relaxing lifestyle. Our home is located on the quiet, less populated east end of the island. Pelicans fly by frequently and dolphins play in the ocean just offshore. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets from this georgous south facing beach. Swimming, surf and boogie boarding, fishing, and searching for perfect sea shells are only steps away from the front yard. Public Beach access is just across a lightly traveled service road.

Amazing Beach Home Away From Home

I believe that this is the 5th year we have stayed at this amazing beach home, hopefully will return for year 6! Pam, the owner, is on top of everything and will respond to questions almost immediately. This home has everything you could possibly want for a beach vacation including all kitchen appliances, towels and linens. Although we are right on the beach we find that we use the beautiful pool constantly! If you can find an open week this is the home that you want to rent!

It’s official - we love Holden Beach and that is mainly because we loved our stay at Seaside Tranquility. The location, the layout, the view from the deck, the fully stocked kitchen, THE POOL….everything was better than expected. Pam was the best host and great to work with! We WILL be back!

Perfect Beach House

I think that this is our 5th year staying at this beautiful beach front house. I believe that our family enjoys the pool almost as much as the beach! The house has everything that you could possibly want, and the owners are wonderful, responding quickly to any questions. If you can find an open week, this is the beach house that you want to stay at!

This is our 4th year in this wonderful beach house, and we always have an amazing time. The property is clean and updated, and is located on the quieter and more spacious side of the island. Easy beach access and an amazing pool really set this house apart. You won't be disappointed!

This property was well kept and beautiful! The short walk to the ocean was the best part! The owners communicate well with guests and pay close attention to detail. There are towels available, hand soap, dish soap and various kitchen items! This was our first time staying at Holden and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Perfect beach house

This was the perfect beach house in such a great location on Holden Beach! The house set up and equipped with literally everything we needed to make this truly and home away from home vacation. From pool/beach toys to kitchen utensils….you name it and it was there! The house is so nicely set up/decorated and was very clean. The beach access is just across a frontage road that has minimal cars/traffic and made for such a easy walk with a toddler to get to/from the beach. Pam was great and very responsive. We hope to come back next year!

Perfect Vacation Home!

This was the first time our family visited Holden Beach and we will be back. Seaside Tranquility is on the East side of the island which is less crowded and peaceful. Great location, ocean front with beach access across from the service road. Home was very, very clean, updated, and had everything your family could possibly need. Pool was a great plus to relax after a trip to the beach or in the evenings. Lots of our family time was spent on the decks overlooking the ocean. We can't wait to stay again.

We have stayed at Seaside Tranquility three times, and it has never disappointed. The house is always clean, communicating with Pam (the owner) is always easy, and the house is perfectly located. To be so close to the beach access is perfect- makes hauling chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys to the beach so easy! 100% recommend this property!

Third stay, as great as ever!

I've reviewed the property for prior stays, and I can continue to say that this is one of the best properties on Holden! Beautiful house, spotless and perfect on arrival, a gorgeous pool, and beach access as close as you can get. Add in an incredibly communicative and kind owner, and you have quite the special property! Don't pass this one up if there's availability!

All you could ask for!

Beautiful house equipped with everything you could possibly need from plush towels to comfortable furniture, beds, and pillows. Immaculately clean and well maintained! Towards the end of the island so the beach is rarely crowded. Pamela is easy to communicate with and offers all kinds of helpful information about the house and the Holden Beach community. We’ll be back next summer!

Beautiful beach house; intrusive owner

A beautiful beach house and wonderful location is disrupted by a demanding and intrusive owner that will contact you all throughout your vacation. The house is absolutely perfect and clean and well equipped, but I was contacted every single day of our vacation by the owner regarding something different each time. The owner expects you to answer her every text and call when vacation should be a time when you don’t want to be on your phone. Throughout our 7 day stay we had a refrigerator repair man, pool man, trash can sanitizing man, and landscaper come by. The landscaper came twice. We just wanted to be left alone to enjoy our vacation. I understand that things need done, but maybe schedule a week to do all the repairs at once so your guests aren’t interrupted like I felt like we were. She texts you things that are already listed and written out in the house, we are adults, we only need told once. If you can look past that then this is the perfect beach house and we really enjoyed Holden beach.

When we are not enjoying our Holden Beach, NC home, we live in Southern California. Though West Coast beaches are certainly beautiful, the NC coast has an inescapable magnetism for us. We grew up and raised our children in North Carolina, spending time at a family beach house near Wilmington, NC until it was sold as part of an estate. Now with our own beach house in Holden Beach, we’re sharing wonderful times again with our children and grandchildren. Our family spends time here during all four seasons and just adores it. We’ve furnished and outfitted it for maximum family enjoyment and are excited to share it with you and your family and friends as well.

Why they chose this property

We love Holden Beach! In our opinion, it’s best and most unique feature is that as a south-facing beach we get to enjoy both sunrise and sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. We also love that it is a quiet family beach and not over-developed. From inside our house you can look out at the ocean and feel like you are completely alone. Being halfway between Wilmington, NC, and Myrtle Beach, SC, means we’re less than an hour away, in either direction, from anything we could want – golf courses, amusement parks, up-scale shopping, entertainment and site seeing.

What makes this property unique

This home is perfect for our family. We were immediately taken in by the fact that almost every single room in the house has a gorgeous unobstructed ocean view. The open floor plan on the main level provides everything our family needs for bonding time. The house is large enough to provide plenty of options for everyone to also do their own thing, if they desire. The private pool offers a summertime pause from the sand and surf, a crucial feature for our youngest grandchildren. We love enjoying everything the relaxing beach ambiance has to offer in all four seasons. The main level and upper level decks are fantastic in warm weather, but you don't miss out on views from inside the house when the weather changes.
