We had a great time at the cabin. It was very comfortable and perfect for spending a cozy night in next to the fire. Lots of outdoor activities and wineries not a far drive away.

Such a great cabin. Nice full kitchen. Wood burning stove was so fun. Rustic charm without really being rustic at all. Made for a great family getaway!

We needed a place to stay while visiting family. The cabin was very clean, nice and relaxing! It had most of what we needed. Very quiet and peaceful. We had tons of fun walking the trails and great evenings sitting outside by the fire pit. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location for hiking, skiing and relaxing. Not only a great location this cabin was impeccably clean with great amenities and communication with the owner Susie was quick and responsive. We loved the wood stove and the fact that we were completely unplugged. The property is beautiful, especially after fresh snow fall. There is a great set of games and books upstairs perfect for a quiet afternoon or evening in.
This cabin is wonderful and we recommend it. We will stay again.

Nature's perfect hideaway
Just back from a perfect, perfect stay at this cabin in Copemish, MI. It was exactly the up north back-to-nature experience that we crave! The cabin itself is hidden away, off the beaten path -- so picturesque, surrounded by trees, birds, small animals and, well, just nature. That is all you see when you look out the window, there are no real neighbors to speak of (you drive through a neighborhood to get there but this property is farther down the road). The town of Copemish is a sleepy little town, just a few miles down the road from Crystal Mountain (skiing), and the Betsie River (LOVED this bike trail!!), and also Frankfort (beaches, great restaurants) and the sand dunes, so it was truly the best of both worlds in terms of having absolute peace and quiet and also access to outdoor fun. We were surprised at how much we loved our cabin down time -- we thought we would be out hiking and biking the whole weekend but it was sooooo relaxing that we found ourselves really unwinding, reading, sipping some wine, bird-watching, did I mention sipping some wine...and we had to force ourselves out for some real exercise.
The cabin itself was immaculate and cozy, with a wood burning stove and sink-in-comfy furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The place was perfect for the two of us, though you could easily have more (loft upstairs has a double bed, a single bed, and we saw some cots the closet). Everything was in great shape, you can tell the place is well loved by its owners.
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely place, we cannot wait to come back and see all the other seasons! Such an affordable idyllic spot, perfect for those of us who forget how great it is to get away from it all. .

Hi Jules,
Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review, and for your wonderful remarks. We are thrilled you had such a good time. We agree, our place is ideally located to get away from it all while at the same time being close to many attractions. We hope you come back soon!
Very nice, quiet and clean. Close to Lake Michigan. Took several day trips and always came back to enjoy a campfire or woodstove fire. Owners have thought of everything!!
The cabin was clean and well-organized and perfect for our 5 day get-away. We used it as a base for daily hikes/bike rides in the Manistee River/Sleeping Bear Dunes areas. We enjoyed coming back to the quiet setting and especially enjoyed the wood stove in the cool evenings. Kitchen is well-equipped and Susie's directions were easy to follow. Loved it!
Cozy & Inviting cabin! Clean!! Beds were comfortable. (Didnt go on trails or have a fire in or out). Mostly, headed to the water everyday.
Thank you for a great stay!!
The cabin exceeded our expectations. Very clean and had all the amenities we needed.
Wonderful, quiet property, wonderful outdoor area to enjoy, and close to everything we love to do in the area like biking, hiking, fishing, and the beach. Hope to visit again next year!
Like new, clean, quality cabin. Very nice amenities, very private spot. 30 minutes to Frankfort, 40 minutes to Traverse City. Cherries and blueberries were ON. Cabin has no A/C but is surprisingly pleasant. Would love to try it out in the winter!
My partner and I live in Chicago, and Susie's cabin was the quiet getaway we were hoping for. Can't decide what our favorite activity was....
Drinking coffee and listening to the birds in the morning, or sitting around the campfire under the stars in the evening.
We'll definitely be back :)

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! Star gazing around the campfire is wonderful. Glad the stars gave you a display. Hope you stay again!
Peace and seclusion in an outstanding environment.
We had an exceptional time while staying at here. The cabin is clean and well appointed with everything you could need. There is a large, well kept lawn area surrounded by spruce trees that is well suited for outdoor games and activities, of which there are several provided. We loved open floor plan w/ the loft overlooking the living room area. Absolutely wonderful time. Would not hesitate to come back again.

Very nice little cabin inside a little hid away in the trees. Very clean and quiet, just off a main road but gorgeous scenery surrounding cottage. Felt very homey as soon as you entered. Would consider for suture stays.
Beautiful cabin tucked in the woods. Clean new cabin with many amenities. It was wonderful to have a fire at night. Take walks in the day. Easy drive to local attractions. Highly recommend this place.
