We rented both homes and really appreciated the separation of space. The beds were comfy and there were thoughtful touches throughout the homes. We loved the location and proximity to food and shopping. Had the weather been nice, I’m sure we would have used the nice outdoor spaces. I’ve rented a lot of homes and this one ranks with some of the best.

Fun duplex in the heart of an arts district

We reserved the whole duplex for a writing retreat. It was a perfect location. Lots of beautiful outside spaces for quiet reflection, an expansive dining table upstairs for workshops, and three independent bookstores within half a mile.

This is a fantastic property in an amazing location! We rented both houses and it really suited our group of friends who were visiting for a wedding as there was plenty of space for everyone.The outside space was great too and we enjoyed hanging out and playing table tennis, twister and other outdoor games.We also had one baby in the group and the house had everything that was needed.The location is amazing as people could walk to coffee shops, restaurants (the sushi place next door, Mole Mole food truck), ice cream (Salt & Straw) and shopping.This property really exceeded all expectations and we'll be back next time we visit Portland!

Birthday weekend family style

We stayed here for a birthday weekend, 13 people between the ages of 21-60. Perfect location so many fun places within walking distance. The house was amazing, comfortable, everything you could ever need for a great vacation. 1000% recommend!!

Great stay!

We stayed in both units as part of a big group of friends. Plenty of beds, baths, room to hang out, stocked kitchens with coffee, and beautiful spaces! Location was good with lots of food and drinks nearby, and also well located to access other neighborhoods in the city.

Fantastic House for Large Groups

I've stayed here TWICE now for two different bachelor parties and we had an incredible time on both occasions. Amazing location, plenty of room, awesome layout, spotless, and with tons of character. Couldn't recommend more!

Great space for a small work retreat!

Our 12-person team needed a space that could act as accommodations our non-Portlanders (7 total) and operate as a homebase during our week-long retreat. This home was perfect! Location was ideal, communication was clear, and space was perfect for us to meet during the day but allowed people to spread out and take their personal time during the evening. While maybe not a typical spot for a small team retreat would definitely recommend!

A Special Home Away from Home in NE Portland

This was a perfect fit for our multi-generation family of 10 with dog. Rooms with comfy beds for everyone, enough space for all to gather, and fun decor. Handy to nice eateries, grocery shopping and little boutiques, and plenty of convenient side street parking. If your large party is looking to be in NE Portland, check this place out.

Perfect Portland location!

We rented the whole house for a large group of visitors and had an amazing time. There isn't a single thing wrong with the home and everything you would ever need is there. If anyone is ever visiting Portland this is the first place I'd send them.

Myself and my Dutch husband, Klaas, are obsessed with travel, design, nature, hiking, and biking....We have combined all of these things into our vacation rental business. During our travels we constantly note what makes things feel unique and special and then incorporate them into our location. We want our guests to feel super comfortable. We can do this by making sure the kitchen is fully stocked, linens and towels are high quality, internet is high speed, the house is super clean. We also want people to feel that they are in Portland, not just anywhere. We do that by using locally made materials in the construction (tiles, flooring, art work), providing lots of info and books about the area, creating an insiders guide of our favorite places, and we have collaborated with locally owned shops who give discounts to our guests.

Why they chose this property

I think our rental has many unique areas- from a large side yard filled with interesting kids structures to corn hole which is a game that friends can play and enjoy for hours. Inside the house has bike themed interiors from hanging tricycle lights to handle bar coat racks. We wanted the house to be comfortable for guests, so details such as reading lights above the beds were put in every room. We hope you love your stay!
