The Berkley Suites is a beautiful, 2-story house located on the same property grounds as the Berkley Manor. Located directly across the street from Silver Lake, the Suites features stunning sunset views throughout the west side of the house, making your visit to Ocracoke that much more memorable. In close proximity to the home are the Swan Quarter and Cedar Island ferry terminal and the heart of Ocracoke Village. The Suites' ideal location makes transportation to and from Ocracoke more convenient and allows you to spend more time doing what you love on the island.

Great house with plenty of privacy and space!

We always go to Ocacroke for my Husband and Daughter's birthdays in September and stay a long weekend. The location of the Berkley House is just at the edge of town which makes it super close to the back road street, boat ramp, and harbor! Check in and out was a breeze and they offered two bikes, a charcoal grill, and had a hose and outlets available in car port of the house for golf carts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking an event on the Berkley grounds and staying at the house. They have pretty gardens and it is all well maintained.

We had a great time! There was a bit of a snafu with the people staying at the Manor but Pheobe handled it wonderfully! This was definitely ranked as a must do again for us! And the pirate fest was literally out our front door so it was easy on my cripple self to move about and get to things! The island was also small enough that restaurants and the grocery store were within walking distance as well!

Girls Getaway Weekend

Our group of ten friends stayed for a long weekend at the house and had a wonderful time. We were scheduled to arrive during a very stormy week with ferries being canceled and Phoebe went above and beyond to help us. She communicated constantly about ferries and weather, etc. We could not have been happier with the house itself and the location and the outstanding customer service that Phoebe provided. Thank you! We had 6 couples, so this house was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The elevator was convenient for taking luggage and groceries to the upper floors. Overall, this was the perfect house!

When we visit Ocracoke we try to be as centrally located as possible. And now that our family is considerably bigger, finding a place that keeps us under one roof but with several different bedrooms is key. The layout with this particular home was perfect and the mini-fridges for each bedroom suite were so useful.

Easy place to have a large group. Kitchen well-stocked with dishes, etc. Rooms clean an ready. The place was not a distraction from our activities, and had comfortable and sufficiently large socializing space. Elevator was nice for those with more limited mobility and for bringing in luggage and groceries.

Perfect for Multi-family

The location is perfect, and the layout is great for multiple families. We had three families of four and there was ample space. The checkin/out process was easy-peasy. Full kitchen, nicely equipped, worked well for us, as we prepared most of our meals. The only improvement I could suggest would be to create a deck off the kitchen for coffee/happy hour with a view.

Perfect for a family or large group.

Phoebe was very responsive to my questions before and during our trip. The house is awesome and the elevator was very helpful with our parents there as well as bringing luggage and supplies to each floor. Beds were very comfortable. The concrete patio was perfect for spending time outside or parking your car. The location is spacious but in a perfect location. We will definitely be back!

We love Ocracoke! And THIS PLACE!

We had a wonderful stay here! The suite arrangement is NOT a typical beach cottage layout, and it's nice to have separate areas for people to go to. The main kitchen and living room area is a little small for 12+ people, but everything was laid out well. Phoebe and 1 of the owners were very responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this place!

Berkley Suites

Excellent location close to the heart of Ocracoke village (most importantly the ice cream shop for the grandchildren) The property entrance is off of the Main Street and there is plenty of parking and a a very large yard. We enjoyed being able to have access to the boat dock and it’s close proximity to the house. Beautiful sunset viewing overlooking Silver Lake and the sound. Plenty of room to accommodate large families. Loved having an elevator to help get food and coolers up to the kitchen.
