Our stay was fantastic! The house had everything we could've needed and then some. The lake, the view, the deck, the beach, the pool table, the sunsets.....there was really no reason to leave the house. So relaxing and serene. We just loved it!

Great Place, Great Location

We had an amazing time at this lovely property. Honestly, the pictures in VRBO do not do this property justice. The location is perfect, the cabin is so very nice. It is well appointed with everything you need for your stay. It was easy to get access. The beds were comfortable. The property manager/owner was responsive. You could not ask for more.

Relaxing Getaway

A quiet and private spot right on the Lake Huron beach. The beach was very walkable, and it didn't appear that many of the surrounding places were occupied at the time of our stay. The house was comfortable with all the necessities. The sunsets were spectacular!

Escape from the city

Property is as listed. Great views! Young kids enjoyed sandy bottom of the lake. All enjoyed quiet escape from the city. We enjoyed easy access to the lake and quick drives to both Port Austin and Caseville. Owner was easy to access with questions. Highly recommend Anna B's for breakfast or lunch, Tip-A-Thumb canoe rental, trails at Port Crescent State Park, Sandy Dunes Adventure Golf. If traveling with kids, bring toys/books/beach items. Nice park and splash pad near marina in Port Austin. If preparing your own meals, consider grocer in Caseville or options in Bad Axe, or BYO.

Absolutely wonderful

We rented both houses and I couldn't be more pleased. The sunsets were breathtaking every single day. The houses were extremely clean and had everything we needed. I loved being able to do our laundry. The kids made forever memories with their cousins and I am so happy we had this time together. The only thing I think I would've brought is some folding/camping chairs to have for on the beach. We will definitely be returning!

Great escape on the lake

Excellent cabin with a lot of charm, one of the most well equipped properties we’ve stayed at with all the essentials. The beach and water are perfect and very accessible. Overall a great stay, we’ll likely come back again.

Little Piece of Heaven!

This house felt like a little piece of heaven on the lake! The house was very clean and had all the essentials to cook and make for a great vacation. The sleeping rooms and house are very spacious and we really liked the open layout in the house with all the lake views. Sitting on the deck looking at the lake was so peaceful and we had so much fun playing pool in the basement. The beach by the lake was so sandy - perfect for the kids who could swim and play in the shallow water. We didn't even need water shoes and could relax and play on our floaties. This place is a little piece of heaven!

Absolutely Amazing!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lake house! The views are gorgeous! Love the sunset view from the boat house and the porch. The property is cozy and private with a great beach front. There were some great attractions in the area as well. Lighthouse museum, grindstone icecream, horseback riding, mini golf, canoeing and a state park right up the road. We will absolutely be back!
