Family Friendly Lake House with Private Beach and Spectacular Sunset Views

Hello Renters,

Our property offers an 1,100 sq ft chalet style lake house with 50 ft feet of private beach front on pristine Lake Huron. The house has all the comforts of home while still maintaining that "away from it all" feeling that you've been longing for. It features an updated full bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, 3 bedrooms with all new queen size mattresses, new trundle beds for the kids, and air conditioning. The lot is almost 350 ft deep so there is plenty of room for the kids to run around and parking for up to 2-3 vehicles depending on their size. We have a swing set for kiddos for enjoy when not on th beach. We are located adjacent to M-25, on a private dead end road; no need to worry about traffic with small children. The house is located conveniently half way between Caseville and Port Austin. The house is also within walking distance from a convenience store and 1/2 mile from a Public Oak Beach Park and boat launch. This house is designed for 1-2 small families. No all adult parties.

Family Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the lake house! It was in a perfect location, central to Caseville and Port Austin, and on a quiet road. The kids (and adults) loved being right on the beach and had fun collecting shells and swimming in the shallow water. The house was cozy, but clean and just what we were looking for to enjoy the tail end of summer. Would definitely book again!

Perfect family getaway

We travelled with our two children ages 2 and 3, this place was *perfect* for our family to stay. Walk right out to the beach, swings in the front yard, we loved that they had toddler rails for the bed since our 2 year old is still in a crib back home. Our kids loved this place so much my daughter asked to make sure we come back next year. Thank you Jon and Kara for having us and treating us with great hospitality

Had a Wonderful Stay . . .

We had a great long weekend at Jon's place. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient to both Port Austin and Caseville. It's close enough to the water that you can hear the waves at night -- which makes for some very good sleeping. It sits back off of 25, so that it's very quiet as well. Makes for a great getaway.

The views were stunning. We watched fireworks from the beach every night. The beach was large enough for our teenagers to play outside all day with jet skis, kayaks, tanning, and cornhole. The house was clean and cozy. Our large family of teenagers fit comfortably, which is typically a challenge for us. The amenities were thoughtful (chairs, grill, fire pit, sand toys, large TV with Netflix and Disney, and Air Conditioning). And the hosts were always readily available for questions. It’s a must stay!!!

Annual beach weekend

Beautiful beach in the backyard, swing for watching sunsets was a a nice bonus. Owners were great communicators. Would be a five star property if they included bedding and towels, more toilet paper etc. We knew that was the case but found it to be an extra stress to pack all the extra necessities when traveling with small kids that already are hard to pack for. Thank you for the hospitality!

Our favorite summertime vacation spot!

We LOVE this place! This was our 3rd year staying here and it continues to be a place we look forward to every year. The area is very low-key and relaxing, and the beach area is great for small kids to play as it's pretty shallow. We enjoy walks along the beach in both directions. The house is clean and cozy, and has everything you need for a week at the beach! Our daughter loves having the swings on property to play on. The market within walking distance is super convienent! We plan to come back every year as a family summer tradition. Thanks to Jon & Kara for being terrific hosts!

Our Family loves the Port Austin/Caseville area. We were coming up every weekend, renting from anyone we could find. We finally decided to buy this property for relaxing family weekends. It is ideal for when you just want to get away from it all. Now, we want to share these unique experiences with you and your family.
