This place has everything we needed. I love cabin feel vacations, and that’s definitely what you get when you stay here. I slept so good and the whole place just felt relaxing and roomy for my family. The river view was spectacular! It felt somewhat nostalgic and charming which made it so relaxing. The host was quick to respond to a question, check in was easy. I think we will come back again!
Had a wonderful time at the cabin. Very homey and comfortable. Perfect location for a float down the river. Beautiful open grassy backyard. Could use some upgrades on the mattresses. Bath tub in the middle of the upstairs loft was interesting but the kids loved using it like a hottub. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
Great location for a great away from the norm. Fishing was great and was only about 100 feet from the back porch. Spacious and comfortable. A return visit will happen.
Group of friends stayed for a weekend fishing trip and the property was great for what we needed. We even caught a few fish in the part of the river behind the house.
The location of the cabin is perfect. The deck and lawn are great places to relax after a day of tubing, fishing, paddle boarding or kayaking. The Trinity River is a gorgeous river. We would definitely stay there again!
This place has the best location. Easy to swim this river. Short drive up river to put inner tubes and float back down to this cabin. Lots to do! Wish we stayed longer
This is my third visit to this property and I’ve enjoyed each visit tremendously. The cabin is well stocked with anything you may need during your stay. Beautiful views from the wrap around porch and the river is only a few feet from your door. It’s a great get away and has a feel of a home away from home.
Arrived late at night so arrival instructions were very helpful. Although dated, house was clean and had many amenities. Woke up to a beautiful view overlooking Trinity River.

We were so excited for this cabin on the river and the outside did not disappoint. Beautiful view, steps to the river, pet friendly, wrap around deck. Our experience was that the cabin needed a deep clean on the inside: walls, floors, bathrooms, kitchen, etc. The upstairs loft area is not separate rooms, but rather a large open space with multiple beds and an oddly placed bath tub. This was not deterring for my family but for those looking to share a cabin, and not a room, it’s worth noting. Our communication with the host was pleasant and easy with a quick response. A really good deep clean would’ve made our experience something we’d rate as five stars and return for. It really is such a beautiful property.
The weather didn’t cooperate. It rained all weekend, it took a long while before I could get the heater to a more comfortable temperature. The house looks clean but the beddings, towels smells a

Very nice front yard for a family to play games, blackberry picking and floating down the Trinity River. Place is in need of some TLC though. No hairdryer was provided, so bring your own. UGH. The place is dark inside. They need more light, especially in downstairs bedroom. Kitchen had all the necessary implements. Place was clean. Upstairs swamp cooler was extremely noisy. Wifi worked. TV was nice. Games and movies were provided. Very quiet neighborhood. It was a good stay.

Rustic cabin, great location. What’s not mentioned in the listing is this cabin is on shared property with two other cabins, the driveway and parking are shared. A driveway to the next cabin goes through the car port of this cabin. Backyard is shared and not private from other cabins. The refrigerator does not work, coffee pot does not work, it takes over an hour to brew a pot. Only one roll of toilet paper was left for a two night stay in a house that sleeps 7. Bedding is old and there are minimal other linens such as bath or hand towels. This could be a decent place but the maintenance/up keep is extremely lacking.

Beautiful spot on Trinity River
This is a nice cabin on a beautiful spot on the river. Deck and lawn were very nice. Living room is comfortable. Kitchen is outdated but had everything you need. The upstairs is a big loft with separate areas. There is a Jacuzzi tub in middle and very inconvenient. The bathroom door is a pocket door and very noisy especially at night and would wake everyone up. The 2 couples upstairs felt like we were back in the dorms.
