2-Bedroom Gold Miners Cabin on Trinity River, Wi-Fi & COLD Air Conditioning.
This recently refurbished mountain cabin built in the 1920's features two bedrooms, a main bedroom featuring a Queen bed and the second bedroom having two twin beds. Living room with wood stove, along with modern mini-split A/C (that blows COLD!) and heating system throughout. Desk with river view and power outlets along with wi-fi for remote working. Full kitchen, bathroom with shower, fresh towels, soaps & hair dryer for your convenience.
The famous Trinity River can be seen from the kitchen window, and designated fishing access is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the front door. The cabin is located near two state highways for easy access so you can make the most of your time away. Well behaved pets are welcome and the yard is fenced so they can run free.
Private parking is included, and there is plenty of space and easy access for boat trailers (secure long term boat storage also available). Douglas City has a general store selling gas, beer and all essentials within walking distance of the Cabin. Charging for electric vehicles is also available locally.
