The cabin was amazing and clean. Had everything we needed and more. The host David was friendly, helpful and caring. Great location between Worlds End and Ricketts Glen. We would love to go back again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in a great location, close to things but back off the main roads. Cozy cabin nicely decorated, and comfortable. We liked making fires in the wood stove since it was cold and rainy out. Would love to come back again.
We really enjoyed the location of this lovely cottage. It provided us with respite and beautiful scenery. It was clear that the owner put a lot of love in this place.

Myself and some friends stayed at Nickey's Nest for the Labor Day holiday. The home was perfect for us. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the backyard fire pit and the front porch for relaxing and spending time with friends. The location was perfect for hiking Ricketts Glen and Worlds End parks. Highly recommend and hope to be staying there again in the future!
This was perfect for a weekend getaway to visit Ricketts Glen and The End of the World Parks! The porch was really nice, and the beds comfortable. The only things we miss a little was wifi (as our cell phone service didn't work well there) and there were not enough towels for our party (but we had brought a few of our own so it worked out). Very enjoyable weekend!
10/10. We had a great time at this property. The place was perfect for us. We enjoyed it with our two young adults who deemed it ‘super cool’. Hanging out on the front porch was a favorite as well as stargazing. It’s a great launch spot for hiking and visiting Eagles Mere. Highly recommend.
Great weekend hiking the state parks. Cabin was clean and well maintained. Communication and instructions were very clear. Property location was excellent, private, but conveniently located not too far from main roads. Enjoyed the fire pit and evening deer visits!
We had a wonderful stay at Nickey's nest! The house was immaculate, property is just beautiful and the amenities were endless. We had the pleasure of being there of the 4th of July weekend, and the neighbors a few doors down even put on an entire fireworks show! Our favorite activity was breakfast on the back deck listening to nature and enjoying that Mountain air! Thank you for hosting such a beautiful place and your attention to detail was top notch when it comes the comfort of your guests!

Loved it!
We are a family of 5 and rented Nickey's Nest for our yearly Earth Day weekend adventure into the woods. The cabin is clean, cozy, and beautiful. The property is very well maintained, quiet, and set in an ideal location for exploring surrounding State Parks. After a chilly day of hiking and exploring, it was the perfect home in which to return to rest and relax. David is a wonderful host and we will absolutely stay here again.

Loved having your family, Erin. Glad you enjoyed yourselves as I have over the past twenty years. Thank you for leaving the home as you found it!
Sincerely.

My husband and I enjoyed a 4-day anniversary stay in this beautiful log home in the beautiful, quiet Endless Mountains of central Pennsylvania. We appreciated the lodge style decor with its attention to detail. The property was well-kept both inside and outside and was a perfect place to kickback and enjoy being surrounded by nature. We appreciated the owners quick responses to our communications. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.
We enjoy the quiet of Nickey's Nest and the location. We were able to explore Sullivan & Lycoming Counties this year with great hiking trails. The evening rains filled the runs and falls. This year it was even warm enough to enjoy a couple afternoons swimming at Lake Jean. High Knob Sunsets followed by ice cream at Becky's is a must!
Highly recommend.
We loved staying at Nickey's Nest! Plenty of space to spread out but also to enjoy time together. We loved spending mornings on the porch on the hammock swing and rocking chairs. The backyard was a nice area for a fire. And the game room downstairs cooled us off on hot days and gave us something fun to do! David's responses to the few questions we had were timely. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.
