We stayed for 1 week mid July. The cabin was cute and had everything we needed while we were there. Conveniently located to grocery, bait and several restaurants. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!
The cabin is adorable and had everything that we needed. Owners were so kind and made sure we had everything that we needed. Amazing bird watching! We saw eagles and an osprey perch in the white pines on the shoreline of the property. We plan to visit again!
This cabin was cozy and private. We kayaked, floated, and enjoyed the view. The location was close to many shops and restaurants. We saw eagles, loons, and herons. We loved it.
We had a wonderful stay at the lake cabin. Very private yet close to town with a large yard to play in and a dock with too many sunfish to count living underneath it. Our kids had a blast fishing and swimming, and there were fun things to do around town for a few days as well. John was very responsive and easy to communicate with, great experience overall.
This property was more than we expected. It was so clean and had everything we needed. Being right on the lake and having access to kayaks and paddle board along with other water toys was amazing. So peaceful sitting around the camp fire at night and listening to the loons call back and forth. Was so relaxing, and an amazing please for a family get away.
We have stayed in many cabins overy the years, this was the best ! Very modern, nice kitchen, and bathroom. Wifi that works well. Enjoyed the fire pit and almost nightly Red Fox passing through. Do not miss going to the Historical museum just north of town. The photo is of green tea that was pressed in a mold , chared to preserve it and shipped from China in the eighteen hundreds.
Lovely quiet cabin with views to the lake from living quarters. Our 4 day stay was great for visiting surrounding parks, St. Croix Falls, Amicon and Patterson Park. For some, this cabin offers a lot to just hunker down there for a week. You have access to kayaks, paddle board and fuseball. We saw 3 deer, one a spotted fawn and two foxes out the living room window. John was very accessible by phone to welcome us and make sure we had a pleasant stay.
We had an amazing time at this cabin. It is exactly as described and equipped with everything you need. This isn’t luxury but it’s an awesome place and although the window sills and cabinets could use a vacuum/clean, the rest of the place is immaculate and ready for your enjoyment. The owner is VERY responsive to questions before, and checks in on you while you are there. The lake is amazing, the kayaks and SUP are fabulous, and the fire pit complete with wood supply is fantastic. The location can’t be beat either. The queen bedroom could use some hooks, a hanging bar, and more storage drawers but no reason to not rent again. Great place, you can’t go wrong! Thanks for sharing your awesome place!
The cabin was beautiful! We had a great, relaxing stay.
The cabin was set up nicely with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Just what we were looking for!
We had the best time staying here for the week! So much so, we looked at a few properties nearby. John was great at getting back to us with any questions we had regarding our stay. We look forward to coming back time & again.

Relaxing Memorial weekend
This adorable cabin is clean and nicely updated. The view of the lake, from the kitchen and living room is wonderful, as the large windows really bring the outdoors inside. The property is private, but conveniently located within minutes of town. The pizza from Fat Daddy's is great and the local bait shops offered suggestions for fishing spots.
We spent almost all of our time enjoying the lake, which was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed hours of swimming and fishing right off the dock. We also enjoyed touring the lake on the pontoon. The yard is nicely shaded by massive pine trees.
Our family of 5 stayed with another family of 4 and we were all quite comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
