We had a great relaxing weekend! Spent time on the deck overlooking the lake and even took the kayaks out on the lake. Would definitely recommend this place!

Finally made it back for our 3rd stay! Linda and Gary are amazing hosts, and the place was just as nice as always. The rooms are always well-maintained and spotless, the stocked kitchen supplies mean we can just bring out food for the week and stay inside and cozy with all the pots and pants we need. We love being able to sit on either floor and look out at the lake as well. This year we saw swans, geese, grebes, eagles, and one otter! Big recommendation to bring a book and sit for an afternoon on the four-seasons porch while watching the rain, too. Just endlessly relaxing. We're already thinking ahead to next year's stay - this was our first year with a child in tow, and he loved exploring the house, walking around outside, and hanging out at the beach as well! Thanks as always to Linda and Gary for being such kind and accommodating hosts! See you next year!

Gary and Linda’s cabin was wonderful! Was clean, had plenty of room for everyone and anything that we needed for the kitchen was provided. We really enjoyed the fact that we did not have steps to go down to the water as well. Was also a very peaceful location. We will be returning!

Our family of four had a great long weekend at this lake home. The cabin itself was deceiving; much more room and bedrooms inside than what it looked like from outside!! There would have been plenty of room if we would have had other relatives come with us! The cabin was super clean, awesome layout. Our girls loved the beach, catching sunnies, picking up snail shells, making sand castles and riding on the paddle boat. Fishing was great, too! The bonfire bit is right down by the beach, which was awesome. We loved the smaller, quiet lake, hearing the loons and seeing all kinds of wildlife, including eagles. Our family is already making plans to visit again! Thank you for sharing your lake home with us!

Very nice lake property. Nice main floor living area and equipped kitchen. Nice enclosed porch and deck area with grill, tables and chairs and view of lake. Finished basement with additional sleeping area. Nice selection of boats for lake enjoyment. Lake is small with some weeds but has some good bass fishing. Enjoyed watching the loons and bald eagles. Overall a well maintained and clean property. We enjoyed our stay very much and the rodeo in Spooner.

It is a little slice of heaven. It is warm and comfortable with everything you could ever need. The lakeview and nature from the deck and shore are breathtaking. The sunsets… Wowsa! We came as a girlfriend trip with three girls, I’d love to bring my family of 10 sometime. Thankyou!!!!

This was our third summer visiting Private Point Lake Chalet and we hope for many more to come. The quiet lake with beachfront is perfect for our annual friend weekend with kids. The cabin has everything we need with attentive hosts. See you next summer!

Beautiful location. So many fish caught. Owners added a pontoon rental last minute for us and it was the icing on the cake! We had a beautifully amazing vacation here!!

The cabin is beautiful, the beach is wonderful and the yard was great for lawn games. We had such a great time! The cabin had real good space for our families to eat & make food and sleep comfortably.

The property and cabin are both lovely and just as advertised, and we highly recommend it. The hosts were gracious and accommodating, too. One of our best VRBO experiences. We would definitely return.
