The property was outstanding. Very relaxing . We visited with John, the owner, and was a true gentleman. What a delightful encounter. Everything about the property was truly amazing.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. The hosts were amazing and the cottage was very well appointed. We wanted for nothing. It was so nice to be in such a tranquil environment and see all the farm animals. We really loved this place.
Cute cottage, plenty of room for my family of 4 and big dog. Farm is amazing. Close to grocery stores and restaurants but a quick drive to be up into the mountains too. Fantastic vacation
Nothing fancy but very comfortable and in the most breathtaking setting imaginable. The home offers privacy but is close to stores, etc. All of the animals, including the cats, were very friendly and non-threatening. The pool was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful, restful stay.
The house was so cute and we loved seeing the animals! It could use a good deep cleaning and repair of some things, but nothing that made us uncomfortable or want to leave. The pool was wonderful and my son loved being able to go for a swim! Very quiet and private, and felt very relaxing!
Great getaway on a farm with friendly, fun animals. Easy going property owner that made sure everything was perfect. Great spot between Commerce and Athens. Would definitely come back again!
We had a wonderful time in this cute little cottage! The farm is beautiful and our little ones loved seeing the animals. Cottage was very clean and owners are very courteous. I would recommend for anyone. Hope to visit again soon.
We will definitely stay here again. My daughter and I had such a relaxing time. The beds were comfy. The house was spotless. My granddaughter loved all the farm animals. They were all so friendly and had fun feeding them. The host John was so accommodating and quick to respond if we needed anything.

Photos of this place are ancient. Shrubs are over the roof in front. Dilapidated and let go are the best words I know to describe it with algae growing on garage door to bedding being from the 80s. Daughter slept on the couch to keep from sleeping in broken bed with stained skirting. Dining room table seats are stained with what looked like baby vomit. Toilets had to be cut off to keep from howling in the middle of the night because of faulty fill valves and leaking stoppers. The environment is cozy outdoors. It could be so much better if they gave it some updates and attention to detail. Beware, the front entrance is a trip/fall hazard with two inches difference in height from tile to hardwood in several locations.
John and his wife was an excellent host. They took time to chat with us about their farm and provided recommendattions to local community. The kids loved mingling with the farm animals. This home is fantastic for families.
This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay while visiting our grandchildren! Our hosts were very helpful and great communications throughout our 16-day stay. The farm was so relaxing with animals to delight our grandchildren and the dogs were so friendly! It’s close to grocery stores and many restaurants! We recommend it for any families looking for a home away from home! Thanks John and Rebecca!
