Quiet and Peaceful!

I really enjoyed my stay here! Our hosts were great and communicative; all of the information was sent ahead of time and we had no issues with check in. The place is on a side street so definitely very quiet - loved that there were tons of birds hanging out in the neighborhood. Overall would stay again if I’m in the area!

Wilton Manors

The property has two bedrooms and is very well equipped. Location is good, not far from the beaches or driving into Ft Lauderdale itself. The area as a whole probably a bit busy for us but that’s just personal taste.

Birthday Trip Success

Great communication with owners. I would say quiet neighborhood, but the train is rather loud. Close to so many things. Nice to have laundry on site. Enjoyed the back patio and the lounge chairs!

It had nothing to do with the host or the place, they were both great! Due to the weather we got stuck in Washington DC for two days on our way down. Then got stuck at the airport for 12 hours and had 6 flights delayed and eventually cancelled. We finally got a flight to Miami at midnight and reserved a car in Miami. The plan was to drive to Wilton manners. When we got there at 2am they said they wouldn’t have a car until 6am so we took the train to fort Lauderdale and rented a car there. We got to the rental unit Tuesday morning at 5am. And just when you think it couldn’t get worse another storm was coming on our way home that would have got us stuck in Philadelphia so we left a day early to beat it. If the hosts reads this please know we don’t hold you responsible for the trip from hell!..:)

Great property

First step into this property and I knew I was in for a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and fresh. The property looks just like the pictures, and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful. Communication was great, before, during and after my stay. Great peaceful and and quiet neighborhood. It shows how much the owners care about their property and the people who occupy it. Will definitely be returning. If your looking for the perfect vacation spot, look no further!!!

Exceptional Stay

My recent stay at this beautiful property was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a stunning view that took our breath away. The space is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for our group, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Quiet and Relaxing

Got of out town for a change of scenery and break from dreary weather in New Jersey. This property is exactly as advertised, and the reviews posted here are 100% accurate. All communication and coordination with the hosts was flawless.

Enjoyable stay

We had a great time at this property. The location is great and the property is very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is within short driving distance to shopping and beaches. The hosts were very responsive and pleasant when we dealt with them. The backyard and the heated pool was perfect for the two of us. We would highly recommend this house and definitely would stay again.

Excellent Winter Get-a-way

The back patio, solar heated pool, and lakeside location immediately attracted us to this conveniently located Wilton Manors property. The interior is tastefully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. We had a great stay and the owners were super-responsive to any questions we asked!

Highly recommend

If you’re looking for a great place to stay that is very private, comfortable, quiet, and clean, with all the amenities of home, this is it! It’s located in a nice subdivision but the landscaping creates a very private buffer from the rest of the world. In the back you have your own private patio and pool with a river view. Last but not least, the beds were super comfortable so we slept well every night. Hope you’ll check it out.

Just Book This One

My two children and I recently stayed here for two weeks. We rented one side of the duplex and would definitely consider renting both sides if we return with a bigger group. The property was clean, well-equipped, quiet and comfortable. It's right on the water but feels very private. The pool is solar heated and as warm as you want or need it. Any questions or issues were addressed immediately by the owners. Highly recommend!

Great stay and location

Great stay. Two king beds that are very comfortable. Pool is new and well done but it is on the small side but it was fine. Bath is updated and nice. For a 2/1 it is very roomy and comfortable. I will be back. Owners were very accessible but we didn't have any problems. We will be back.

Amazing, Convenient, Relaxing

We booked a 5-week stay to escape cold weather and pandemic shutdowns up north. This property was just what we needed. WiFi/tech meant I was able to work 9 to 5 for 3 weeks without trouble (used dining room table) Private back patio and pool was perfect for short escapes from work calls. The back patio is right one a water way so iguanas, egrets, ducks, fish - great fun to watch (and occasionally be startled by - in a good way). Everything was clean with new bathroom and kitchen. The counter space in kitchen is at a premium but we still managed to cook 50% of our meals there with great equipment. Washer & dryer meant we came home with clean clothes. Both beds are comfortable - one softer and one firmer. Smart TVs in each bedroom and living room with Roku, streaming and DirectTV. Front yard is lush, giving privacy and quiet from the already quiet street. Private parking right there. And the location was great as a launching place for trips to Key Largo, Palm Beach, Naples and the beautiful gardens and parks in South Florida. We loved it and loved our hosts. Highly recommend. P.S. This is 1/s of a duplex but the patio and pool are private for this half of the building. In 5 weeks, 4 other people or families stayed next door. We barely heard them.

Wonderful Oasis for Relaxing Getaway

This property was perfect for a much needed, relaxing getaway. The unit was spotless and impeccably decorated. The hosts were responsive, helpful and accommodating. The outdoor space is truly like a little slice of heaven. We enjoyed a daily walk to stork’s bakery for amazing coffee and breakfast treats. And we highly enjoyed all of the animal friends. The lizards and ducks were entertaining to watch and fun to have around. 5 stars all the way around.

Comfortable two bedroom unit. Part of a duplex but the patio and pool area are very private. There was an issue with the adjoining unit over noise but i think it was more about an individuals sensitivity Kitchen is adequate but could use some more pots This was my first time using VRBO and i made errors including not checkng all messages snd giving our host a wrong telephone number. They were very understanding

A place to get away from the pace, but, not too far that you are!

We want to thank James and Fernando for a wonderful stay! The apartment was immaculately clean and decorated tastefully with quality, comfortable furnishings that made this place feel just right. The magnificent views of the mangrove lined, natural estuary from the living room and master bedroom provided a sense of calm and serenity that lasted our entire stay. We enjoyed breakfast on the expansive outdoor patio overlooking the estuary and were greeted each day by a friendly flock of ducks and ibises. It was a wonderful and rare treat to experience "Old Florida" in the hustle and bustle of Ft. Lauderdale. James and Fernando responded quickly to any inquires we had without being intrusive nor making us feel as if we were bothersome. They made us feel welcome and appreciated as special guests. You will not find better hosts nor more exemplary customer service from any traditional hotel or guest house. This wonderful property delivered the peaceful and quiet respite we greatly needed after multiple days of caring for a sick family member and dealing with their many doctors appointments. The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood close to all of the "hubbub" of Wilton Manors but just far enough away to provide the peace and quiet we so desperately needed. A place to get away from the pace, but, not too far that you are! We look forward to staying here again very soon! --Sandra and Frank

Relaxing Vacation

We enjoyed our relaxing 2 week vacation at James and Fernando's lovely vacation home. Their always responded quickly to any questions we had prior to our trip and also on our trip. Their vacation home is tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. The patio is perfection for just sitting back and relaxing. The mangroves, iguana's and geckos keep you entertained. The pool though small was still great!! Especially after being at the beach for afternoons and to just relax. Hwy 1 is only a couple of blocks away that can take you anywhere you want to go. I would suggest a book be kept at the home for all to write in where they may have visited or the restaurants they went to. Would definitely come back:)

Perfect getaway

The house was the perfect size for my wife and I, along with our daughter. The pool let us relax when the beach was too windy. The backyard was very peaceful to the point where I took multiple afternoon naps out there (there’s a chance you wake up to an iguana looking at you). It was close to multiple grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches. The only thing I wish they had was a grill, but other than that I would highly recommend.

Great place. Very clean and super convenient. You can walk to Wilton manor bars and cafes and some great restaurants only 10mjn walk away. The private pool is fun - sit in lawn chair or relax by the pool. We’ll definitely book this place again

Friendly efficient owners , but not intrusive. Nicely proportioned 2 bed

Location- 10 minute walk to Wilton manor amenities- we loved bona restaurant 18 minute drive to a space where you can park at the beach. Wish there had been a comments book in the property to share tips. On the last day we discovered Hugh Tagore birch state park/ loads of parking for 6 dollars all day. Good cafe Clean toilets and pic nice areas plus lockers for valuables The property is otherwise backs onto the water of colohathee park / quite overgrown mangroves but still great views of incredible iguanas , squirrels and birds. We chose the property partly due to plan of a morning jog in the park each day but the park was closed for improvement- shame! The pool at the property was warm and safe due to a fence but tiny! It is a triangle shape/ really just a place to dip. The terrace was lovely but there are only 3 sun beds which is odd . We were a party of 3 so maybe the owners removed one for their own use knowing this? Kitchen tiny but fine although some flat baking trays would have been good Beds were really comfy and bathroom fine ( no bath) with a good shower. Thoughtful touches like beach chairs and cool box were very appreciated issues - limited info in property re local sights or tips. Get the comments book going! Pool man cams unannounced and scared us Trains very noisy and start at 5.30am ( they sound their horns) but you do get used to it after a few days Air con very noisy - likes washing machine! Overall well priced , clean and safe. Good choice if want to be outside Fort Lauderdale as Wilton manors fun.
