This little studio was absolutely perfect for our needs while in Oahu. We loved the prime location and the second studio apartment that is somewhat adjoining (both front doors open into a vestibule that locks from the main hall. We traveled with our bestie-couple and it was perfect to have the privacy of our own rooms with the kitchenette amenities but be able to simply open our front doors to signal to the other couple that we are ready for visitors LOL. Would 100% stay again if we find ourselves going to Oahu in the future!! And the view from the windows was amazing.
Adjoining rooms worked great for our group. They are basic rooms, but clean and well maintained. Beach access within a 15 minute walk with lots of food options.
This place was clean and adequate for a brief stay. I assumed "renovated" meant recently, the place was old, out dated and showing a lot of wear and tear and in much need of TLC. Examples: shower and window curtains not correctly hanging, noisy and dirty bathroom vents, cables and cords showing and not dressed neatly, old tables and chairs, baseboards not secured to the walls, empty body wash dispensers and towels that had a strong fragrance like they were washed in very strong soap. The good; for the most part it was pretty clean and the location was good. Plenty of food within walking distance. It was easy to check in and out and the rooms were ready early. If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower for a day or two, it will serve your need. If you are expecting the Ritz this isn't the place for you.
We stayed at the two adjacent units. Our sister in law and brother in law had the larger "A" studio and we had the "B" studio. The communication from the owner was wonderful, as she occasionally checked in to see if everything was fine and if there was anything we needed. The check in process, getting our keys was very seamless. Our only comment would be that the units could benefit from a little update. Everything else was perfect. Mahalo!
This place was generally a great place to stay for the short time we were there. The off location parking described as a block and a half away was a misnomer. It was much further than that, but we managed. The place could use some upkeep and updating, but all in all fit our needs for the price.
This option worked well for easy access to downtown and Waikiki Beach. There is a main security door for the space and individual security doors for the two rooms, which can be left open. Both rooms were well equipped and clean. The views were great and the location made morning runs easy. Thanks for sharing your condo units!
Overall the location of these studios are great! They are in walking distances of all of the places that you could want to walk to in downtown Waikiki. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice city and canal view. The cleanliness of the place is where my hang up was. The shower and shower curtain were dirty and definitely needed attention. The floors in both studios were sticky and full of dirt, to the point where we vacuumed ourselves. The place needed a deep clean and would have been much better. Overall a great stay for location and convenience but not a good stay if cleaniness matters to you.

Thank you for your thorough review. We're sorry that cleaning was not up to the standards that should have been provided. Please understand that on very rare occasions, our cleaners' may miss a thing or two and that's why we've hired an onsite manager to take care of cleaning or any other issues that might arise for our guests. All it takes is a phone call to the number provided in the check-in instructions and our manager will take care of it.
Well, here is the honest truth (the good, the bad, and the ugly) about this Vrbo Rental in Waikiki:The Good: Fantastic view of Waikiki and of the beaches from a distance. Great location within walking distance of Waikiki beach, great restaurants and parking at Ala Wai Boat Habor Parking lot. Air conditioning does keep room cool. Regrigerator is small in one room but it functions well and freezes water in bottles. The Bad: Noisy location where you can hear traffic and sirens even though you're on the 38th floor. Noisy air conditioner in room. Very tight space in the room and no space for clothes storage. Limited lighting in main room. Burnt out light bulb in bathroom with very poor lighting. The Ugly: Must pull shower valve out with a lot of force to get water to flow. Shower very tight space with plastic curtain. Mirror has damaged areas around the edges. Vent fan in bathroom is dirty, noisy, and does not remove steam from bathroom. Body wash container in shower unusable – can't extract any body wash liquid. Caulking around shower stall was quite messy and very poorly done – obviously not done by a professional. The room with an oven, has a very old stove with electric burner elements – this should be tossed in the dumpster!Overall, although we were pleased with the location in Waikiki, we regretted booking this Vrbo rental because the room was too small, noisy, and not “renovated” in a professional manner. I do not recommend this one.
Great home base for everything between HNL & Diamond Head
Property is strategically located 20 min from Pearl Harbor, the airport, and Diamond Head. Walking distance in and around Waikiki, including shopping and restaurants. Checking in was a little different than we were used to, but easy enough to get to the unit w/o issues. Parking garage is a little tight, and the person manning the gate seemed to be definitely on island time. All in all a good time and just what we needed.
The apartment is in a good part of town. The coffee shop in the lobby is very good. The unit itself is small. If you are planning on spending a lot of time in the room, it might be a little confining. We really only used the rooms to sleep and spent the rest of the time out doing all of the great activities that are all close by. The property managers were great and very responsive. If you are someone that sleeps hot, do what we did and request fans to help circulate the air from the window AC unit. We asked for one and it was brought right up. They have beach umbrella, chairs a cooler and towels which are great to have. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the property. Overall, a great experience for our family.
This is a very clean and comfortable apartment. Nice amenities like beach chairs, plenty of towels, toiletries and umbrellas (it rained like crazy one day) were greatly appreciated. The bakery/coffee shop in the lobby was fabulous and opened early! The location made it easy to walk to area shopping and beaches. Owner was very responsive to questions. We’d definitely stay in this competitively priced rental again.
We were a day late arriving but the location of thr property was fantastic. We got in all of our Waikiki adventures, city tour and Pearl Harbor. The view was AMAZING! We watched fireworks all over town but loved those.pff of Waikiki Beach. We would definitely recommend this property. Juat as a reference- There were 5 of us. Mom and dad, two 22 yr olds and a 17 yr old.
Beautiful view!! Location was great. Room was clean. Exactly what we needed.
Beautiful views!! It’s a great place to sleep. Units were clean. We used the beach chairs and towels. Perfect location. Only downside was not being able to unpack our clothes. There is no dresser and only a few hangers.
Watching the sunrise over diamond head each morning, AND getting to see the ocean at the same time from the 38th floor was very special. Great fast food eatery with poke sushi and burgers on the lobby floor, along with a bakery and breakfast place we didn't get to try. Loved that the rooms included boogie boards, beach towels, snorkel equipment and Tommy Bahama beach chairs, along with games and sand mats. Didn't use all these things, but nice to have available. Really enjoyed walks through Fort Derussy Park including eating dinner from "Burgers and Sushi" while watching the sunset in Tommy Bahama chairs. Great supermarket very close by (Food Mart st Eaton Square), and eat location to Uber from. Walked along canal to Leonard's. Great trip!

My wife and I love to travel and the best part of traveling is the people we meet. By acquiring a rental property in Waikiki, we are able to meet people with diverse backgrounds from different parts of the world.
Why they chose this property
This property is at the entrance of Waikiki and represents a gateway to the rest of Honolulu. Many attractions are within walking distance and there is bike, scooter and car rental nearby. We bought this place so we could spend time in Waikiki with all the visitors that come to our beautiful island.
What makes this property unique
This unit is budget friendly with the feel of higher end hotel rooms. View is magnificent with ocean, canal, city and mountain range views.
My wife and I handle all the operations with the rental. I manage the booking through VRBO and other sites and my wife does the cleaning and prepping of the room to ensure everything is done to our standards and our guests receive the best value possible.
