Hi Kim, We are sorry to hear that your visit to Carbondale was less than ideal and sincerely apologize for any inconveniences that were experienced. The property listing did not mention the use of the basement kitchen and it was also referenced in the guest guide that it was inoperable. Our team would have been happy to schedule a visit from a technician to address the spiders if we would have been made aware during your stay. Hi Sarah, we are sorry to hear about your disappointment. We regret that you didn't reach out to us with any of these concerns during your stay. We would have been happy to rectify these issues as soon as possible. Also, the entire area is seeing above-average box elder and elm seed bug activity, and unfortunately, due to the proximity of boxelder and maple trees, elder bugs are the most common intruders in homes. It is unfortunate that this happened upon your arrival but there is no way for us to predict when and how long this will last. We hope that in spite of any inconveniences that you enjoyed your time in Basalt.
