SUPER SUMMER SAVINGS!! Cool and Eclectic , Perfect Downtown Spot minutes to LSU

This is 1 of 3 awesome vacation rentals in the building. I don't have many reviews on VRBO but plenty of wonderful reviews on other sites.

This unit is located in one of the best location in town, the on ramp to Mississippi River Bridge 1 block from back parking lot. It's 1-3 blocks away from the attractions, restaurants and bars but in a small, quiet complex for your peace. LSU and Interstate access for quick travel anywhere around town.

It's about the EXTRAS. We have nice mattress pads, high end pillows and sheets for your comfort. The bathroom has a SPA dual shower head and hand held with multiple settings of your choice. The towels are thick Prestige quality. Finally, we now provide Matrix Salon quality soap, shampoo and conditioner that was made exclusively for Wyndham.
But we got it!! Our goal is try to provide things you need and maybe didn't know you need.

We Have plenty of free, reserved parking for all guests.

The unit is decorated wonderfully with lots of character. The beds are plush with new high quality linens and pillows for a peaceful sleep. The kitchen is complete with built in microwave, dishwasher and smooth top stove.

There is a common courtyard in the middle of the complex to relax as well.

We provide a wonderful taste of Louisiana providing Community Coffee Dark Roast Signature blend to start your mornings.

USBC open bowling tournament

Great quiet place

It was nice. Much more spacious then I thought. The internet did not work after the first day but it was raining really bad so I’m sure it was the weather. Everything is within 10 min drive. Even Walmart. It was quiet and I felt safe. I would definitely go back!

Great location to downtown

I had a bit of difficulty with the check-in process. The check-in message I received through VRBO listed the unit number and lockbox code. Upon arrival I discovered the lockbox did not have a key in it. Fortunately, I was able to get in touch with the property manager and found out that I was not in the unit noted in the VRBO message. Once the property manager informed me of the correct unit everything went smooth from there. I had to ask the property manager a question and received an immediate response. Don't let your initial sight fool you, the unit I stayed in was clean, decorated with modern fixtures and is within walking distance to most thing downtown.

The property was in a convenient location for us. The deadbolt was broken so we only had the door lock. The apartment looked like it had been vacuumed but there was dust on all the furniture and it needed a good deep cleaning. The only shampoo and conditioners were what other guests had left. Not what was advertised. The owner was great with responding and communicating.

Convenient to downtown

We rented this unit for the weekend. We were new to town and visiting for my daughters volleyball tournament. The location was perfect. Walking distance to the Raising Canes River Center. Property manager was friendly and communicated well with us before and after our stay. The unit itself is older, but well maintained and very reasonably priced. Courtyard area was a nice place to sit and relax in the evenings. If we ever come back to Baton Rouge we would definitely book again. Also, we discovered a local restaurant for bbq and seafood that we absolutely loved. Pit-n-Peel and it’s less than 10 minutes from the rental. Excellent food and service. Do yourself a favor and check it out! Thanks again Paul for opening your rental to our family.

We arrived and the same night we could not figure out what room we stayed in and the host did not answer any messages or phone calls after some time I went threw my emails and finally found the room number once we got to the room we tried using the code for the lock box but it never worked so my boyfriend just turned the door handle and it opened meanwhile the keys where still in the lock box our entire stay we where never able to lock our door after leaving to ensure our stuff was safe but after we walked in we went to check the inside since the doors just opened and the bed had already been used like someone just left and stains on the sheets not only that but there was trash still in the trash can and for the first night we pushed all the sheets off and slept on it for the night expecting to hear back from the host during our stay the a/c was also acting up only one wall unit worked the whole time it was very hot and had a wet mold dog smell still since check out I have not heard a single word yet still and vrbo help team is no help either they keep saying 24 hours I heard that my first night it’s 3 days later now

I get it. Downtown Baton Rouge is fun and always seems to have something going on..especially around some great LSU football games! This place was...just like the owner said...very convenient to downtown. I had no idea what type neighborhood we were in, but one of the tenants in the building....now these are his words, not mine...told me that “even though there are a few homeless people hanging around the street, it’s a great place.”. Personally, even though I did see a few, it was NO big deal, and we felt totally safe. His place isn’t exactly new, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s clean and fairly comfortable. But the place needs some TLC. We had an unfortunate big water leak in the kitchen ceiling which pretty much blocked our access Friday night to the refrigerator & half the kitchen. And the kitchen water faucet leaked badly, but we didn’t discover that until it soaked us. No...it wasn’t the end of the world..to us, anyway..and even though he was apologetic, I would’ve thought the owner should have offered us some small refund for our inconvenience. After all, we had to mop the place up and keep an eye on the water buckets and ceiling for him. After coming over Friday night to check on it, he never mentioned it again, which surprised me because his communication after our reservation & prior to our arrival was great. One thing he hit the nail on the head concerned the bus transport to the LSU stadium. The pickup spot was about a block down the street, at a great little hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant. Very much appreciated this place & it’s service before and after the game. Really, even though my team came and got whooped by a very good LSU team, we had a good game experience with all the unexpectedly gracious Tiger fans we met!

First time in Baton Rouge!

We booked this to be close to LSU for a game and it did not disappoint! The unit was just as advertised and plenty of space for us. Paul was easily accessible if needed and made the check-in and parking super easy!

The apartment was pretty nice on the inside, the area it was located in was alright, but it was quite convenient to downtown spots and around 5min from campus. Overall not a bad place at all. Would definitely visit again

Marathon weekend

Great place! Courtyard was so relaxing pre and post Louisiana Marathon! Easy to walk to downtown area for restaurant and grocery. Close to USS Kidd and LSU too.

Great place to stay, excellent location

Paul makes it very easy and casual to stay at this place. Close to everything downtown including museums and great restaurants (too many to try in four days). Do yourself a favor and go to the Jolie Pearl and don't be fooled by the bar-like appearance. Get the shrimp po boy fully dressed (of course); you can thank me later. There was a minor issue with a few others staying at the condos a bit verbally abusive after the game in which LSU literally destroyed my school. But that was out of the control of the property owner. I thought people that smoke pot got mellow but this guy was aggressive verbally. Bad winner, I guess. Everyone else around the property and in the city couldn't have been more gracious and kind. Southern hospitality, for sure. Overall I would stay again, no question.

Setting up my place to share with Airbnb guest was a no-brainer. The downtown Baton Rouge scene has changed a lot over the years and has become the new HOTSPOT again. I can direct you to all the local attractions and the best restaurants around for your taste pallet.

I enjoy my hometown teams, LSU and the New Orleans Saints, but won't hold anything against you for supporting your favorite teams. My spot is minutes up the road from LSU.

I'm in the real estate and mortgage businesses so I'm pretty much available all the time. If I'm tied up I certainly get back with you asap. I try to give guests space unless you need something and I'm there.

So with all that said you can book my place with confidence you'll get the most out of your visit to Baton Rouge.
