This top floor unit of Kona Plaza is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath property that has an incredible ocean view & has the best location in all of Kona Plaza. Unit#402 sleeps 2 & features a King Sized Bed. Central Air Conditioning, Wifi Access, Washer/Dryer, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Elevator Access & Underground covered parking!

There is a HUGE lanai/balcony for your comfort. Relax & watch all of the exciting activity in the heart of Ali'i Drive below. (Cruise ships, sight-seeing boats, outrigger canoes, and fishing boats---All can be watched from this gem of a Lanai.) Kona Village closes down by 9:00 PM, so after nine the only thing you will hear from the Lanai are the ocean waves.

This perfectly located gem has everything you need for a stay of a few days or several months. This is the type of location you actually would not have to have a car in Kona.

Inside walls between units are 12 inch thick concrete which makes this condo very quite and peaceful. This unit has everything you need for a fun stay.

Kona Plaza Condominium Complex has a great pool with lounge chairs & 2 BBQ decks with great views of the ocean/mountain.

WHAT A DEAL! Great condo in the heart of Kona Coast

We liked walking to all the cool spots in Kona. I loved the spacious apartment with all the amenities and balcony views of the sunset. My only concern was the parking lot in the basement.

Great stay in Kona

Overall great property and stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of things, just a short walk either direction to all the best shops and restaurants. Easy access to the highway, just a couple minutes up the road, to get in and out of town. Underground parking. There is an elevator and the unit has AC, two big perks. The condo is very comfortable for 2 people, large balcony, king sized bed. It also has a ton of features like a welcome kit of soap/supplies you’ll need, water toys, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels etc. It’s not the most dramatic home on the island, it’s more of an honest and functional condo (with a view of the ocean). It also happens to be in a great locational for a very reasonable price. Would recommend for your stay on the Big Island.

The management company is top notch, from the welcome basket to communication, all nice touches. The unit itself is a little outdated, but everything worked and it had everything we needed. Access is via an electronic key pad on the door and it has a keyed security door. The view is better from the 4th floor. The location of this plaza is perfect, which is the best part of staying here. The parking garage is under construction, but we never had an issue finding a parking spot. The parking garage is only accessible via the elevator which requires a key to get to that level. Defya secure place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Pictures are accurate. Close to all the amenities in Kona. Staying here, you do not need a car unless you are going to tour around the island. Grocery stores (2 on Palani), Walmart (straight up Henry Street), and local shopping are all within a mile of the condo. There is an ABC Store directly across the street if needed that is open 7:30 am to 10:00 pm 7 days a week. Beaches are close (Kailua Pier being one of them) or several along Ali'i Drive or the old Kona Airport that is 1.5 miles away from the condo. There is an E-bike rental shop on the main floor of the building and a brand new coffee shop that has 15% discount for those who staying in Kona Plaza (great coffee and treats). Bike rental shop was amazing. Farmers Market is a 3 minute walk away for all your fresh fruit and veggies. We had no issues with the property. Property manager was amazing and has options available for mail and parcel pick up, which was greatly appreciated! We would stay here again.

Great location in town

Excellent access to restaurants, shops, easy walk. 4th floor with elevator. Good pool. No WiFi, so use hotspot. Some ends of walls are scuffed & marked. Refrigerator outside rusted, inside fine. Microwave small, works ok. Washer/dryer very handy. Size of unit is fine, just needs some TLC.

It an older building and the unit is a bit dated. But it is clean and well maintained. The location is great especially for those who like to walk it is convenient to shopping and dining.

Location, location, location

This unit is located in downtown Kona with an easy walk to many restaurants and many boutique shops. However, the street behind the condo is very noisy with many vehicles blasting terrible music and often without mufflers. Doesn't Kona have a noise ordinance? Also, the building across the street has a very rusty, deteriorating roof that detracts from the ocean view.Even mornings were noisy with trash trucks beeping and someone grinding metal.The condo is cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The bed and pillows were very comfy.The non-working clock was a distraction. The picture of the woman in the bedroom was spooky, with her looking at us.For handicapped people, there was plenty of room to navigate. The toilet was low and difficult to get up from and I needed help. The bath tub has a low wall and a nice skid-free surface. However, there were no grab rails, so I did not use the tub. Too scary.Note: One of the lanai chairs was wobbly and we did not use that.

Great Location

Located near downtown, the balcony view is partially obstructed by the building in front. Close to restaurants and stores. The place was clean, and everything, including the air conditioning, cable, and TV, was functioning well. Communication with the host was excellent.
