The Roadrunner Tiny Cabin at Palo Duro

Beep beep! Come stay in the Roadrunner Tiny Cabin. Located just 1 ½ miles from the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, this vacation rental is on the doorstep of the second largest canyon in the United States! Our cabin offers a unique getaway, surrounded by the West Texas landscape and its amazing wildlife and views. Enjoy the beauty of country living, with the convenience of the town of Canyon just 11 miles away.

The Roadrunner is a small cabin, approximately 12’ x 12’ on the inside, with a 3’8” x 12’ covered front porch.

It is furnished with a twin-over-full bunk and sleeps 3 people.

It has a bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, and coffeemaker, and outdoor area with gas grill. It has a window A/C unit and heater.

Linens and dishes are provided.

Coffee and snacks are provided.

This is your chance to experience tiny cabin living at its best!

The cabin was great. The only areas for improvement:1. Most of the burners on the grill did not work ... enough worked that i could cook2. The smoke detector was missing

It’s a lovely space. Like the outdoor games! It would have been nice if the cabin had screens ( to take advantage of fresh air).

This set of cabins is like an oasis in the middle of the prairie. Trees, shade, games, outdoor seating. This is a really great place to stay when you are visiting Palo Dura Canyon.

I would definitely stay at a cabin here again the next time I come to Palo Duro. The Roadrunner cabin was the exact size and amenities we needed for a short weekend stay. It was clean and quiet. Easy check-in. Great location next to the State Park. Adorable property.

Great little tiny cabin for a short little getaway!

Being a mile and a half away from the state park and other things to do around the canyon was very convenient. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much.
