Private cottage in the Adirondacks on pristine White Lake. Just over two hours from Rochester. Enjoy a quiet and relaxing time with the family or a private couples getaway located on a private bay. Few weeks still available for the 2023 season.

Camp Shamrock, one of the best locations!! Lakefront property located in a private secluded bay with breathtaking views of White Lake. This location is perfect for families of all ages but especially for those with young children as it's away from busy boat traffic. The private beach with subtle drop off is also great so children can wade in the water while parents swim close by. You will find our private float in the middle of the bay which can also be used for your enjoyment. This Lakefront Property offers a dock for your use throughout the duration of your stay.

White Lake is a crystal clear spring fed lake that is one of the clearest in all of New York. It provides a great opportunity for boaters, skiers, swimmers, an those who enjoy fishing. Often times there will be a ski course on the lake. The lake is perfect for skiing as many days the water can be very calm, almost like glass. Our bay is the perfect location to enjoy swimming as it's off the main part of the lake, sheltered from boat waves and traffic. Fishing is some of the best in the region with the opportunity to hook Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Black Bass, Perch, Bullhead or Panfish.

The Old Forge Area provides families with tons of outdoor activities ranging from mining for Herkimer Diamonds to taking a day to enjoy the Enchanted Forest Water Safari. There are hiking trails close by for both the beginner and avid hiker. Ask the owners for tips and ideas of what to do in the area. You will find us at our cabin right next door to Shamrock on most weekends.

Awesome lake front stay

We loved our stay! The water was warm and clear. We swam and kayaked. It rained pretty heavily on of the days suring our stay, to the point where we couldn't use the dining table on the screened in porch, leaving us without a dining table. It wasn't too big of a deal. We hope we can some back some time!

White Lake Natural Beauty

Lovely spot, exceptionally clean lake with kayaking and canoeing right on property. It's rustic, but that's the charm. We brought our 2 dogs and they loved it. Our Springer took himself for a swim everyday. We saw plenty people fishing and actually catching fish! The view from the cabin deck is spectacular. It's a gem of a location. James the host is ready to assist and knowledgeable. One final thought: PEACEFUL OUTDOOR LIFE

A little piece of heaven!

Shamrock cottage is a quaint, rustic cottage with beaitiful views of White Lake. The cottage is well equipped with household items, tv, DVD player and multiple card games. An Outdoor fire pit is well stocked with wood, a gas grill and nice deck with table and chairs. The lake access has steep stairs with a handrail leading down to a nice dock with a large canoe and 2 kayaks for renters use. The water area has a floating dock in the middle making it a great place to swim and fish from. We will definitely rent here again! See you in the Fall!

We've been coming to the Adirondack's for the past 40 years. I've spent almost every summer here through most of my life and I can tell you that there is nothing like the mountain air. I have many memories of the times I spent here as a child with my family and now with our children. I'm confident hat you also will create memories that you can enjoy for a life time.

Why they chose this property

: The cabin has been in the family for almost half a century and we are excited to have the opportunity to share it with you in 2014 and in the years to come. Shamrock is full of a lot of history built in the early 1900's. It is one of the oldest cabins on the lake. It will provide you with that rustic feel but with modern amenities. We are confident you will enjoy your stay!!

What makes this property unique

White Lake is a very clean spring fed lake that boasts great opportunity for swimmers, boaters or those who like to fish. The crystal clear water is some of the clearest in the state of New York. The lake is home to numerous fish species and a variety of wildlife. I have personally caught hundreds of fish here over the years and have seen first hand the sport fish that can be caught from your 12" Rainbow to 48" Lake Trout. You will also find Smallmouth, Perch and Panfish.
