We stayed for a long weekend and found this house to be a great family friendly spot! The house was very well stocked with plenty of towels, pillows, blankets and all kitchen necessities. This house is spacious enough for 3 families and the bottom floor had a game room that provided plenty of entertainment for the kids. The host was very responsive to messaging and did their best to provide a very easy check-in and check-out process. We hope to return to this house in the future!

Great Stay

This house was perfect for our family to gather. It’s very well appointed with all the necessities we needed for our stay. The children (ages 7 & 11) loved having a space of their own downstairs with bunk beds and games to play while the adults appreciated the upstairs area for themselves.

Relaxing spot

The house was great for a relaxing stay. The views are amazing and the property is very centrally located. Very spacious upstairs and down stairs which was great for accommodating a large group

Excellent and cozy place!

I will very highly recommend this house! Owner is super responsive and house is very cozy and spacious (we were 6 adults and 6 grown up kids). Kids loved the game room! We will be back for sure. Neighborhood is awesome (close to skiing) and very much family friendly.

Wonderful home full of los of comfort and amenities

Dave's house was one of the best we have stayed at, we loved the great room and well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and the amazing game and pool table room downstairs. We enjoyed cooking, watching movies, playing games together and loved the location easy access to Truckee, Donner Ski Resort. Lovely quiet neighborhood. Definitely want to stay again and in the summertime too.

A perfect mountain oasis for the family

We were up for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding and this was home base for our immediate family. It was perfect. The cabin decor is great, the game room adjacent to the bunk bed room kept the family occupied and everything matched the description great. They even threw in a little summer snow from the sky just to liven up the weekend. ;)

Wonderful home great for families

It was a beautiful home, perfect for families with children. The home is full of games in a pool table. The owner had great communication. The home is stocked with all the things you could possibly need. It was a great experience.

Fabulous hosts, location, home & decor

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Dave and Kim's place in Tahoe Donner. Their home is one of the best decorated and well-stocked places that we have stayed in Tahoe Donner. VERY family and dog friendly. Our golden retriever felt very at home! The game room is just a delight and location to both Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake is just ideal. Dave and Kim are excellent hosts and communicated every detail so well. We hope to return to their home again. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful property

We had no problems checking in, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the property was beautiful. The family loved the pool table and the view. The game room was always being used and we had non-stop food coming from the kitchen. We saw a bear! We were on the top deck eating supper when the bear wandered into our sights, it was so exciting. The host are so nice and communicated very well. It was a great experience overall.

Thanksgiving week

Three generations of our family stayed here. The house was perfect for our stay. The downstairs was perfect for our teenagers age 14-18. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with lovely walks nearby. We had a little snow and enjoyed the warm fireplace. This house is well stocked with everything you need. The beds were fantastic. The owner responded within minutes to any questions I had. We will definitely stay here again.

9 of us stayed at the house. It was lovely: clean, spacious, lots of extra linen, lots of kitchen supplies. The teenagers loved the rec area with pool table and darts. The bunk room was perfect for the teens. Dave was very responsive and we were very well informed. Would definitely recommend this home. Thanks Dave!

Wonderful getaway!

We has a great stay at this house! The pictures don't do it justice. The design of the home is very Tahoe and whimsical! The layout is great for traveling with teens. Huge bunk room, a playstation, two TVs, dart board and a pool table all on the lower level and a spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living room (with 3 bedrooms) on the upper level. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the check in and out was a breeze. Dave was very communicative and super helpful with any questions I had. We will definitely be going back and I would recommend this house!

Extremely well equipped home

Extremely well equipped home for a large group. Only negative was a lack of a regular blender for certain drinks. There was a 'ninja" or "bullet" mixer - but that was not sufficient fora large group.

Ski Trip with friends

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this home. We have rented several homes in Tahoe to share with friends on ski trips and we absolutely loved this one. We were 3 families, with 5 kids. The lower level with the kid's room and play area was fantastic. The adults enjoyed the main area and the kids were in heaven playing downstairs. The only negative comment, even with the heat on, the rooms upstairs were very cold. Downstairs was even hot, the living room was good with the fireplace, but the 3 bedrooms in the main level remained cold. Not sure what the issue may be, but I already suggested the agency to check on it.

Great communication for the most part.

Overall, we were really happy with our accommodations. Dave was very responsive and answered questions quickly. During the check-in process, the access door to the garage, which we were given the code for, was locked. The code for the deadbolt worked, but the keyed door, itself, was locked, so we couldn't gain access. After a few of us made multiple calls, we finally got in contact with Dave and got in through the garage door. The rest of the vacation was great, other than minor issues like only 2 rolls of toilet paper in the 2 bathrooms which had to last 3 nights with 8 of us in the house. After all was said and done, we still really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back next year for our annual golf tournament again.

Perfect Place for Kids

We loved this place! We had 14 people, the majority who were small children. The bunk room was perfect for them. This house had everything we needed! I do a cookies with the kids day every year where I host my nieces and nephews to make cookies while parents can do some running around. This year I decided to do something special and host them overnight and Dave’s place rocked. Getting in and out was easy. Directions are clear. Everything was easy to follow. Dave was especially kind when my sister in law realized she left her wedding rings on the nightstand. He alerted the cleaning company and put me in direct contact. I was able to meet up with the company owner the next day to retrieve the rings. We used the association passes provided to go up to road to the sno park where we got discounted guest rates with the passes and had a blast! I would definitely stay here again. All of the household amenities made our stay extra easy and comfortable.

Great place to stay!

Family vacation to the snow. Location is within 5-10 minutes from Tahoe Donner Snowplay and Donner Ski resort. Dave was wonderful to work with. Any question I had he answered within minutes. Highly recommend this place!
