Great spot, spacious and luxurious. Parking space was a bonus and the bed was very comfortable. Nice location, close to various neighborhoods and easily walkable. Loved the private hot tub and backyard area. The only drawback is that the second floor of the house either has residents or is rented out to other guests and there is no soundproofing between the floors so it was very noisy when the other group was there.

Emily is correct noise can be a problem between the floors that is why there is a sound machine on the stairs to help block some of the sound. The hard wood floors are beautiful but they do not absorb sound like carpet would.
The dragonfly cottage is wonderful! It's a very quick walk to downtown and a short drive to West Asheville. If you have pups there is a new dog park right next to the cottage which the host kindly told us. The bed is actually really comfortable (most rentals are not). It has a great back yard and a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.
