Ebjoyed everything about this place! it was just minutes away from downtown area. But it felt like it was a world apart. Beautiful Mountain View's and a nice clean grill we used to cook our steaks and a cute bonfire right on the beautiful deck for smores we even enjoyed the extra large bath to soak in after a long hike. The communication was top-notch as well. We will be back
The home definitely feels like a treehouse! Quiet and very few mosquitoes during most of our stay (end of June), which was surprising. If I had one suggestion, it would be to have more hooks/places to hang towels and washcloths in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was a great location with comfortable beds and convenient to all the best things of Asheville!
This property is in a great location very easy and close to downtown Asheville. The last couple of turns are tricky the first time driving in, but the communication from Josh with check-in information gave very clear directions. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were high quality. The kitchen was well stocked. We would have liked couches that were a bit more comfy (saw that someone else had noted this, too), but that doesn’t stop us from giving this a top rating. The listing pictures accurately present the property - except that there are leaves on the trees in summer, so the long-range views are partially blocked. There are other homes nearby, but we did not see or hear any people on the neighboring properties. We would definitely stay here again!!
The mountain view was beautiful! Such a cute and peaceful place. Ot was perfect for my husband and I. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. The host was great, we had a couple questions and he got right back to us. We will definitely be coming back!
This was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. Josh was very quick to respond to any questions we had and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect!
I had a wonderful three week stay. Josh was always quick to respond. Very personable. We have several great conversations. I couldn’t get enough of the view of the valley and mountains. I highly recommend this round house.
You can’t go wrong with this property. There are beautiful views from inside and from the large deck. This is not a secluded cabin, but even with neighbors you feel like you have privacy. The beds are very comfortable and the appliances are full size (responding to a negative comment made by someone,) The house is very close driving distance to town. If you are reading reviews to help you decide, my only caution would be for someone with mobility issues because there is no walk in shower, just a large tub you have to step into to shower. There is a small 4-cup coffee maker, so we brought our single cup maker with Keurig pods. I think the property would benefit from having a Keurig. We loved seeing the bears and raccoons. Read and follow the hosts driving directions carefully and you won’t have any problems. I would definitely rent this property again.
Place was great, Fun location, watched birds, racoons and even a bear from the big windows in living area. Host was communicative. Stay with confidence.
The host's welcome was warm and informative. Amenities were completely covered. Many birds visited the trees surrounding the house and the bear we saw at dusk on a drive down the mountain completed the stay.
Located near the Blue Ridge Pkwy with great deck and view. Felt like staying in a tree house/cabin. The kitchen was missing a salad bowl for mixing, Pyrex casserole dish and dish washing cloth. We made the kitchen work for us and had a great stay.
The mountain view was lovely! Communication with the host was excellent. The house was clean, well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The directions via GPS were spot on. I printed out the directions as well, both were clear and easy to follow. The bungalow was close to downtown Asheville, but far enough away not to feel like it was close. There were a couple of surprises, there must have been a small fire at some point and the cabinets were damaged on one side. The shower was unique, but otherwise everything was as described. I would recommend staying at this bungalow.

Hi Karen,
Glad you enjoyed your stay! Hope to have you back in the future. Regarding the cabinet - a past guest had an incident with a toaster and a pop tart which resulted in burning the side of our cabinet. We are currently looking for a replacement.
House was unique and clean. Lovely location close to downtown Asheville yet surrounded by nature (even got to see a momma bear and 3 cubs in the yard below)! Host was very communicative and checkin/out was a breeze. Would definitely stay again.
