A little slice of Heaven on Earth
We chose this cabin for our spring break trip with extended family. We had 10 total. From the very first inquiry to the finally of the trip, Jim and Lisa and their rental far exceeded out expectations. The description and pictures are accurate. The beds and pillows were beyond comfortable. The cleanliness of the cabin was perfect; even the towels were great quality. They provided a thoughtful and personal gift basket to welcome us. No detail was missed! The entire trip was truly covered in double portions of blessings! The property was amazing with hiking trials, near by fishing, and campfire pit with wood already available. The hot tub was wonderful. The view is amazing. They even had a handrail put on the steps before we came for my disabled husband and elderly grandparents! The first night we got there, a storm came in a knocked the power out. Jim immediately reached out and kept me up to date on the details of the power crew working to resolve the issue. He made sure we were taken care of for the reminder of the trip and was so generous to us. Even though there were things that happened outside of their control, they made sure our stay was more than enjoyable. Thank you, again, Jim and Lisa! We absolutely hope to return for another trip until he future!

Peaceful and beautiful views.
The cabin photos online don't do it justice. It's so beautiful and open. We had plenty of room for 8 adults to spread out. We spent a lot of time on the deck. The peaceful prayer place off the trail is amazing. Jim was amazing to get a hold of for any questions we had. On our 3rd and 4th night a mama bear and her cubs came to visit us. That was spectacular. None of us had experienced that before. We had everything we could need to bake, cook and grill. The laundry room is awesome. We enjoyed hanging out in the basement playing ping pong one evening. We would love to stay here in the future when we visit Townsend. I highly recommended staying here if you have a big family or group of friends. You won't be disappointed.

The perfect end for the year
The most cozy and family friendly cabin I had stayed so far. They went above and beyond and even got some gifts for us and the kids. Very accessible and a wonderful view. Perfect for those looking to do hiking around. The cabin has everything you’ll need. Close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Mountain Memories
We visited at Christmas. We drove up to fences wrapped in garland and candy cane lined driveway! Such a treat after a 5 hour drive. The cabin itself is amazing! We had 3 families for a total of 10 people. Plenty of space for everyone as a group and when quiet time was needed. The cabin was decked out for Christmas! They had a welcome basket and stockings with our names on them! The basement was the teen’s dream! Pool and ping pong tournaments were a huge hit! Finally, the view! It was amazing!! The sunsets!! To sit on that deck and see that view was worth it. Our only negative was the bears. We were too late to see them!

Very nice and clean cabin off the beaten path. Very quiet and peaceful but accessible to the tourists attractions and far enough away if you dont want to be a tourist. Jim and Lisa are very communicative and great hosts. We hope to book again next Christmas..

We are high school sweet hearts who have found the secret to making it work! Faith, Truth, and Time together, Quality Time! 44 years since our first date, oh yea and most importantly laying our lives down for each other! We have a passion for the beauty of our loving Fathers creation! Hiking, fishing, biking, photography, and classic cars are some of our other joys. Our very busy schedule, 2 adult sons and a daughter plus 3 grand babies keep us hopping! We also Shepherd two rural churches in Middle Tennessee. As the OWNERS of "Campfire Lodge" we know how important it is to have a place of PEACE and REST where the whole family can come and the kids can run.

Why they chose this property

Lisa and I have hiked many of the trails in the Smoky''s, most all the water falls. We do enjoy the shopping and attractions near by in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but this area, Townsend and Wears Valley has a different pace. Lisa has always called these "Her Mountains", even the drive in is so beautiful and NO traffic! We fell in love with this property when we first drove up the road. The unexpected 2 acre pond (across the road) was a photographers bonus. Thanks to Papa! Now, we would like to invite you to come and rest a little too!

What makes this property unique

"Campfire Lodge" is spacious, 3000' plus, but as we looked for a home here we desired three things. First, it had to have a view. Second, when the crew gets together there is at least 3 big trucks and a couple cars. so parking was a must.Thirdly, when my grandson arrived today he asked, "where is the dirt?" his toys needed dirt to move! kids need a place they can just run! All this and 5 acres with some private hiking trails. Did I say wildlife......Reminder....Its AGAINST the Law to FEED the Bears
