Woodstock Comfort

We spent a busy and fun long weekend in the Hudson Valley, and it was so nice to have this quiet, spacious and comfortable property as a home base. The location is perfectly convenient to Woodstock, and a great spot from which to extend out into the surrounding towns or further into the Catskills.

Peaceful

This is a beautiful place, both the house and the location. We were looking for quiet and peace, and this was perfect. The house is set in the woods, and we could not hear any neighbors. The only sound was the rushing of the stream near the house. The house was clean and comfortable, and decorated in a fun and interesting way. Downtown Woodstock is a little over a half hour walk. I highly recommend!

Perfect Fall Getaway

This rental was the perfect home for me and my girlfriends when we escaped NYC for the weekend. The house is exactly as advertised, very cute and stocked with anything you could need. A <5 min drive to the town of Woodstock, and <30 min drive to tons of Catskills trailheads. Christine and Elena made it easy to check in/out; we hope to be back again!

"Simply the Best"

I have spent 2 wonderful weeks at this amazing property. There was not a thing I wasn't happy about; the location (breathtaking, very private, in the nature), house itself:( very comfortable, completely equipped, gorgeous). I would highly recommended, I am very pleased!

Beautiful, tranquil getaway near the heart of Woodstock

Christine’s place was lovely and quiet, and more spacious than the pictures suggest. Everything was just as described in the listing. We had a wonderful time and would go back again!

Warm Wooded Home

The residence has the feel of a home. No doubt a family has lived there. It is cozy. It is 50 yards or so from the road, among thinning trees, with a stream passing along the property. There were three deer outside the window the first morning I awoke. It is a short drive into Woodstock, or a healthy walk of a mile or so. It is a short walk to the Byrdcliffe Art Colony. There is a television in the living room and master bedroom. I watched Netflix for the first time!! We hiked up the Overlook Mountain Trial, a demanding walk through the snow-covered trail. The parking lot for the trial is a short drive up the mountain from the home, across the street from the Tibetan monastery, also worth a visit. Stay at this house if you are in the area; sure beats any hotel. Elena met us at arrival, showed us inside, made herself available to answer any questions or solve any issues. We had none. I was in the area to attend a concert. Hope I have reason to visit the area again in the near future, and that the Spiotta home is not booked!!
