About this property

Quiet Apt. in Historic District

This vintage 1949 apartment is in the charming, tree-lined walking neighborhood of the Hyde Park Historic District. A short stroll away is the "restaurant row" of SOHO, as well as quaint Hyde Park Village and fabulous Bayshore Boulevard.

Accessible via an exterior staircase, this quiet apartment is on the 2nd floor of a quad-plex, and has original wood floors, its own washer/dryer, a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 ceiling fans, two mini-split air conditioning/heating units, cable, Wi-FI and its own dedicated off-street parking. From here, you can stroll tree-lined streets with century-old, restored houses to great eating, shopping, and entertainment venues and to the world's longest uninterrupted sidewalk (magnificent Bayshore Blvd), where you may be lucky enough to spot manatees, dolphins or sting rays! You are also just a mile or two to downtown, University of Tampa, Tampa General Hospital and Amalie Arena, and just a 10 minute drive to Ybor City, Macdill AFB, and Raymond James Stadium.

This apartment has a covered front porch/laundry room area for the exclusive use of guests in this unit. It also includes a family room, kitchen, small dining table with two chairs, a hallway with a storage cabinet, a bedroom with a dresser, bedside tables and a closet, and a full bathroom which includes a combination shower/tub.

All guests staying in all four units of the quad-plex have shared use of the concrete table/benches in the front yard of the property.

Entry to the premises is via a digital keyless entry system. Prior to check-in, I will provide each renter with their own unique entry code, which will only be valid during the length of their stay. I will always be available via cell phone/email for any inquiries that guests may have. I also live within 5 minutes of the property and will be available in-person on most occasions. I love to help visitors make the most of their stay in Tampa!

I primarily grew up in Orlando, but have lived in Tampa for 18 years. I love this city and think that you will too! I am a stay-at-home mom with four wonderful kids (a 10 y/o daughter, 13 y/o son and two grown stepdaughters). I have a graphic design business and enjoy making yearbook/dedication ads for graduating seniors. I am very happy to own this charming property, which is in such a perfect location! I love being an Airbnb Superhost and look forward to helping make your visit to Tampa a fantastic one!

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! It is a cute home in the middle of the historic district. Hyde Park is one of Tampa's most charming areas, a walking neighborhood with tree-lined streets, restaurants of all classes, clubs for the younger set, and shopping for all. The Sunday Farmer's market is very popular, and Bayshore Blvd is truly a gem.
