Very cute house, great location and the most amazing view. The pool is great. The team caring for the house were very attentive. It was a short and sweet stay for us this time. We will be back !

Beautiful

The open space in this property and view was amazing, being able to sit in the living room area and looking over the pool and seeing the beautiful sunrise and sunsets was my favorite part. Lovely hosts not too far when needed very kind and humble. Accommodated us when ever needed.

YOUR SAFETY AT RISK, unless you drive a 4x4 vehicle.The location of the property is as beautiful as the pictures. The place was not clean & did not have pool towels, we found roaches-big and small- and 3 large spiders... the place is more like an eco-tourism, backpacking kinda place. But that is not the problem. The listing only suggests you have a car. Nowhere does it states a 4x4 vehicle was NEEDED! We almost lost our lives 2 times going up the very steep hill in a rainy season. Our car lost traction and almost went over the cliff. We had to manage driving down on reverse all the way from the top. We were only warned by the managing company upon our arrival. We missed 2 days of going out because our small SUV would not make it up the hill. And taxis refused to pick us up because the hill was too dangerous and slippery while wet. Also, the house does not have a functioning door or gate. Anyone can go right in if the shutters are not down. In fact, the pool guy came without warning and was right inside the house without us knowing. Delivery guys and people from the area know this place has no gate. That is not safe anywhere in the Dominican.This app does not allow me to post videos so you could see and hear for yourselves! On the last day, we changed cars to a 4x4 pickup truck.My only hope with this post is that when you see the listing, it has been edited to add the safety warning.

Magnifique villa avec vue incroyable !

Nous avons adorĂ© notre sĂ©jour. La villa est parfaite avec sa vue magnifique. Tout est au rendez-vous: propretĂ©, tranquillitĂ©, services et Ă©quipements. Nous sommes charmĂ©s et nous y retournerons sans rĂ©serve. Nous avons louĂ© un Squad, ce qui nous a permis de visiter la rĂ©gion pour ses belles plages et ses succulents restaurants.Le service Ă©tait rapide, courtois et chaleureux. Toutes nos demandes ont Ă©tĂ© rĂ©pondues avec efficacitĂ© par Genesis, la gestionnaire de la villa. Les hĂŽtes Christianne et JoĂ«l ont Ă©tĂ© lĂ  pour nous conseiller avec gentillesse et surtout, ils ont Ă©tĂ© vraiment accommodants pour nous aider lors d’un imprĂ©vu dans notre voyage.

Eine traumhafte Villa mitten im Paradies

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dieser sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichteten Villa verbracht. Innen wie auch außen war alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Lage mitten im Paradies mit einer traumhaften Natur und Aussicht,wovon man nicht genug bekommen konnte. Wenn wir Fragen hatten oder ein Problem, die Vermieterin hatte sofort geantwortet und geholfen. Wir können es zu 100% weiter empfehlenđŸ‘Œâ€ïž, wir wollten gar nicht wieder nach Hause.

Une vue Ă  couper le souffle

La vue depuis la maison est magique. La maison est trÚs grande. Perchée sur une loma, la maison est vraiment au calme tout en restant prÚs du centre ville (10-15mn en voiture) ou des plages (5mn de coson) Quelques difficultés pour monter la cÎte en voiture les jours de pluie, mais on finit par y arriver (et ça fait partie du charme des vacances aprÚs tout) 3 belles chambres, toutes vue mer. Il nous aura juste manqué une table plus grande sur la terrasse pour manger dehors, celle présente est un peu petite. En tour cas nous ramenons de beaux souvenirs et de belles photos de cette maison!

Relaxation and great views!

The house had great views but driving up the steep hills to get to it was a bit of a scary experience. A few downsides were there isn't a microwave and electricity should be included. There were also cats and dogs coming in at night or when we weren't around to eat our food in the kitchen. The entry way needs some repairs, cars can get damaged coming in and out. It's definitely a relaxing place to stay and I recommend it for its great views.

Amazing Eco Villa

From the moment I walked in and took a glance at the breath taking view over the pool to my last moring sipping coffee watching the sunrise over the ocean in the master bedroom balcony I was in love with this villa. I had booked last minut and was lucky enough to get in for a few nights. The owner was so responsive and kund and the care taker could not have been more pleasant. Close to shopping ,restaurants and the beach. And just enough away to feel your in a world or your own. Me and my family will definitely be returning.

Eden on Earth

The stay was a dream. It really is even more incredible in reality. It's like diving into another universe. The pool with spillway and the view over the landscape to the sea at sunset is breathtaking. The rooms and the whole property were very nice. Joseph, our property manager was top notch. Very nice and accommodating. If there was a problem, e.g. the gas was empty, he immediately provided a replacement. Absolutely top, thank you for that. It was an unforgettable experience and we hope that we can repeat it soon.

ImĂłvel estava sujo e nĂŁo tinha material de limpeza adequado . TambĂ©m tinha cheiro ruim e insetos como baratas . Tivemos que acionar o Sr Joseph para enviar pessoa para limpeza que nos atendeu prontamente . TambĂ©m tivemos falta de gĂĄs que o Sr Joseph solucionou , pois nĂŁo havia botijĂŁo de reserva . A internet e limitada . Como estamos a trabalho tivemos que iria uma lan house para poder trabalhar . A dona da casa nĂŁo permite lavar o chĂŁo com cloro , que vai contra os protocolos do covid . A Ășnica coisa positiva e a vista . Se vocĂȘ se satisfaz somente com vista , estarĂĄ bem aĂ­ . Nunca mais voltaremos . E uma armadilha .

La Mariquita une perle dans un Ă©crin de nature

Super séjour, la maison est exactement comme sur les photos avec en plus une vue merveilleuse sur une étendue de palmiers et à l'horizon une eau bleue turquoise. Cet endroit est un havre de paix loin du tumulte des villes de la république dominicaine. Joseph est dispo h24 pour régler les petits soucis inhérents au pays. Logement à recommander sans hésitation. Superbe région.

Un moment privilégié...

Belle maison, bien entretenue, dans un quartier calme, avec une super piscine. Las Terrenas est un village le fun a visiter, plein de restos, super plages (malgré les détritus ici et là...). Je vais sûrement y retourner :)

La maison, situĂ©e sur une colline surplombe la vĂ©gĂ©tation et au loin l’ocĂ©an. Vue magnifique , avec piscine Ă  dĂ©bordement. Nous n’avons pas Ă©tĂ© déçus !! La maison est spacieuse, bien agencĂ©e. TrĂšs agrĂ©able. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis par Michel et Joseph , charmants, qui ont toujours Ă©tĂ© trĂšs rĂ©actifs Ă  nos demandes. Nous avions louĂ© une voiture SUV qui nous a permis d’accĂ©der Ă  la maison par la petite route qui a une pente trĂšs forte !! ,mais Insister peut ĂȘtre plus sur le fait qu’il faut un 4x4 pour ĂȘtre sĂ»r d’accĂ©der sans problĂšme. Quand la route est mouillĂ©e, le sol est trĂšs glissant , les roues patinent et la voiture dĂ©rape !! Un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able. A recommander !!

Belle villa avec une vue magnifique. SituĂ©e sur une loma il est dommage de ne pas prĂ©ciser dans l’annonce qu un 4x4 est nĂ©cessaire pour accĂ©der Ă  la villa. Les pluies tropicales rendent la chaussĂ©e trĂšs s glissante et une voiture ordinaire ne monte pas. Manque de transat autour de la piscine : seulement 2 pour une villa donnĂ©e pour 6 personnes. Linge de toilette trĂšs usĂ© et vieillissant, problĂšme d’ eau chaude. Sinon la villa est trĂšs bien situĂ©e , au calme loin du bruit des mobylettes et prĂšs de la magnifique plage de coson Bon sĂ©jour

Merci infiniment, ce fut un moment parfait, la villa est parfaitement identique aux photos, confortable et Joseph et Michel sont adorables serviables, vraiment je recommande Ă  toutes personnes qui hĂ©sites Ă  ne pas passer Ă  cotĂ© de cette belle opportunitĂ©, un scooter est nĂ©cessaire pour se rendre Ă  la plage et au village, la vue est imprenable, sur la mer, le VERT et les oiseaux qui chantent, comment vous dire que nous avons envie de vite revenir dans votre villa. Le calme est prĂ©sent et presque aucun vis Ă  vis, l'Ă©quipement d'un barbecue rend aussi les repas au top, tout y est pour ĂȘtre loin du bruit et proche de la fĂȘte, des resto bref, moi qui suis habituĂ©e Ă  rĂ©server des villas ou appart pour le coup c'est un vrai coup de coeur Merci Joel, pour le taxi et toutes les questions que je vous ai posĂ©, vous avez Ă©tĂ© au top et vous avez rendu nos vacances magiques :) bien Ă  vous et pour les lecteurs j'ai juste envie de vous dire que c'est une belle occasion de ne pas se soucier de quoi que ce soit, tout est exactement comme sur les descriptions

We had a great time at Villa Mariquita, beautifull view and surrounded by great nature. The house fits our holiday needs and the location uphill was very quiet. Perfect to a relaxing vacation.
