Our check in was a little rough in terms of finding the house (so get the exact directions and house number before you arrive). After that, our stay was perfection. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are gorgeous. The beach is gorgeous. You get the picture!!

Amazing Paradise

Hands down, one of the best places I have visited. Loved the house, the beach and mostly the help(Sonia & Marco). Would highly recommend this property. Great communication with owner. Helped me with all my requests, to make sure my vacation went off without any problems. Thank you again!!

Amazing property that requires a different state of mind.

Our stay at this property was a wonderful time. We took our family for my dad’s 70th birthday and it was definitely a gorgeous spot. We would definitely recommend anyone who wants to get away and not be close to anything. You come here because you want to relax, recharge, and renew. Remember: this is not an all inclusive resort….act as if you own the place, come with a proper pocketbook, and make sure you treat everyone there as if they were part of your family.

Dominican Heaven

This property is as spectacular as pictured, if not more so. The grounds are lush and there are so many comfortable options for lounging outside and just taking it all in. The beach is protected, great for distance swimming and very private. The host is super responsive, and the housekeeper very capable and accommodating. While she does not speak English, she was good at figuring out what we were trying to communicate. If you are looking for a little slice of heaven by the sea for luxurious relaxing and unwinding, this is the place.

Beautiful home on a beautiful beach

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was perfect for our group of six for our week-long vacation. We spent time by the pool and on the beach. The beach is very private and there were many times we were the only ones on the whole beach. The kids loved playing in the sand and the waves perfect for little ones to swim in. Sonia and Marco were very helpful and Sonia cooked some delicious dinners for us. She tidied the house so we didn't have to lift a finger, they picked up groceries and were very hospitable. it really added to our relaxation and experience! We had to rely on our phones to communicate in Spanish and for the most part, we were able to understand each other. Cyrus, our host was so helpful. Not only did he offer us his apartment to stay in town when we had a late departure flight and couldn't stay late at the vrbo residence, but he also arranged to have our kid's stuffies mailed back to us in Canada when we accidentally left them behind. Our kids are forever grateful to have be reunited with their beloved sleep companions! It was a wonderful vacation and a very positive experience, we highly recommend!

A Gem

There isn’t anything more we could have asked from this vacation. Could possibly be one of the best we have taken. The house is beautiful, clean, and was the perfect set up for our family. The beach the house looks out to is like a tropical paradise. It is private and peaceful and the walking trails are the same. Our kids spent hours each day snorkeling as there are corals right there. There is a big yard that was perfect for a family football game and the swimming pool kept everyone entertained when not at the beach. The housekeepers, Sonia and Marco, enhanced the experience exponentially as well. Sonia cooked for us often and her food was better than any we had at any of the restaurants we tried. All 5 kids were satisfied every time (never thought this was possible)! They are so kind and helpful and I wish we could take them back to Atlanta with us. They do not speak any English (as very few people in the town speak any English) so work on your Spanish before you come. The owner Cyrus is also quite helpful and helped make our experience the best it could be. We did an ATV excursion with Flora Tours and it was really really cool. Blacky the dog and all the other dogs in the neighborhood are all so cute and friendly too. We have been to a lot of amazing places and this place is one of the best we’ve been. Thank you!

Amazing home, amazing beauty, amazing people, wonderful for family and kids

We had a truly wonderful stay at Cyrus' home in spite of some bad luck and medical challenges. The house is exceptional -- it is extremely spacious inside and has an enormous patio outside (great if you have little ones who need space to run). The pool is huge, beautiful and perfect -- having a lip on the pool also made it safer with our one year old, as well, so he couldn't just walk and fall in -- the older kids loved having the lip as a launching space to jump in. The yard is gardened, large and beautiful. Story book. The pictures online do not do it justice. We spent most of our time outside on the patio relaxing on the large bed, in the swing, on the couches and in the pool. Having the beach literally at the end of property was also amazing. It is a nearly private beach, with very limited use by others (on average three or four other groups might be seen). The ocean cove is protected by a reef so there are no waves and the water is very safe for little ones. There is some sea grass to contend with, but this is a minor issue and easily avoided by walking 50m further down the beach. There is also 24-7 security protecting the beach and the development so you can feel extremely safe. Sonia and Marco, the housekeepers, treated us like family (we needed it many times!) and are truly warm, wonderful people. We paid extra for Sonia to cook dinner for us nearly every night ($40 per night) and loved the local Dominican dishes we requested. It is so nice to stay in, enjoy the house and beauty and have someone else handling all the work. Sonia prepares breakfast and lunch and maintains the house cleanliness as part of the rental, as well. Perfect. Marco keeps all in order, cooked fresh fish for us and handled all of the grocery runs (you make the list and give them the money; they handle the work!). Neither speak English so make sure to have a Spanish speaker with you or Google Translate close at hand. We had wanted to go into L.T. for some dinners or lunches, but ultimately did not as it was too nice and convenient to stay at the house and L.T. is more hectic (and distant) than we had really prepared for. If you want to do so, you absolutely need a car. Cyrus was totally available and supportive in our times of medical need for support and guidance -- deeply appreciated. The entire area has an untouched feel, away from tourist bustle (but plenty of local bustle), full of local DR culture, and nature. The house is private and full of serenity.

Heaven on Earth!

My family and I just spent the last 30 days in this luxurious paradise! The home is spectacular, the location couldn't be better, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! It is well maintained, clean, spacious, very private, and very comfortable. This place is the ultimate home for relaxation! Marco and Sonia made sure that everything was perfect. We hired them to stay and cook for us many nights, and everything was delicious from the local Dominican cuisine to the coconut and rum cocktails. They were able to do some shopping for us as well, always finding the biggest and freshest lobsters, fish, and shrimp that we've ever had! Marco and Sonia truly became like family to us. Our kids spent their days on the beach, which is clean, quiet, serene, and protected by a reef so there are no waves. The water is crystal clear! We would go for walks along the beach daily, and the very friendly neighborhood dogs would come along with us. (We miss you, Blacky and Che!) We discovered some great restaurants (La Terrasse is incredible!) and made beautiful memories. The owner is very friendly and has great communication. We stayed here when the COVID-19 pandemic was just starting. When it was about time for the end of our trip, it was really ramping up, and our airline canceled our return flights back to the US. Flights into the DR were all canceled, so there were no flights out either. We asked about whether or not the house was available to rent longer in the event that we couldn't leave the country, and Cyrus very graciously willing to work with us. We ended up finding some last-minute flights home with the help of the Embassy, but we very much appreciate an owner that is willing to work with someone in an emergency like this. If you are looking for a relaxing, very private vacation with a crystal clear, warm ocean just steps away... you need to come here! We would love to come back and stay here every year!

Love love love. The house. Sonia and Marco are amazing. Blacky the dog is so adorable. Cyrus answers all questions and available to help. We will return. Amazing views. Family memories for a lifetime!

What an amazing property! We have a family of 6 - including our 4 children ages 16-6. The home and accommodations were spectacular. Kids spent days exploring the ocean and swimming in the pool for hours on end. Walking the beach for miles and finding countless treasures. Sonia and Marco made this trip a special vacation for us parents as delicious meals were prepared and all the clean up completed. Our family ate fresh fish daily and even octopus caught right in front of the home. Marco would cut fresh coconuts for the kids too! We also took in the whale watch excursion as well as horseback riding on the beach - plenty of activities if you want - but the best is drinking Corona and playing in the back yard and pool. We have travled the globe and this vacation ranks as our best of all time - so many memories! Highly Highly recommended! Cyrus is a very engaged owner and communication was amazing!

Fantastic family vacation!

We had a wonderful stay with 2 families (4 kids aged btw 9-12). Cyrus is very responsive and helpful and Sonia and Marco are just amazing. The beach is beautiful and very private. We chose not to rent a car and only had a couple of excursions (all using taxis set up by Sonia). The house is gorgeous and exactly as pictured. Thank you, Cyrus!!

True vacation

Wow, this house is truly amazing and Sonia and Marco make it an over the top experience. The food was incredible and the service is like no other. I am only able to rate this 5 star but would actually rate it higher. What an amazing time we had at this place. Hated having to leave. 100% recommendation to anyone looking for an amazing vacation. Please note this is a couple miles outside of town however.

Exceeded all expectations!!!!! Paradise!

This property was absolutely everything we were dreaming of for this relaxing family vacation in paradise. The home itself is huge, architecturally very cool (hacienda style), well-decorated, and integrates the outdoors very well with an infinite pool with its own waterfall, lots of patio space, swings, outdoor eating area, well-kept grounds, and a very short path to the beach, which is just outside the back yard! Perfect for the elderly or those with difficulty walking. The beach was pristine crystal blue waters, light sand, and underwater coral reefs where we saw lots of colorful fish and even a sea horse! But by far the best aspect of this stunning property is Sonia and Marcos. Sonia was with us all day everyday cleaning, doing grocery shopping, and preparing three meals per day for us. These meals were unbelievable. She would daily buy fresh fruits and vegetables and seafood direct from the fisherman and make healthy, fancy beautifully-presented works of art! They were beyond kind, so hard working, and made sure our every desire was met. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to spend a family holiday. This will blow your mind and was worth every penny and more.

We had a relaxing time

Very relaxing atmosphere. We booked excursions that were very fun, horseback riding the waterfall at El Limon, an ATV excursion! both were very fun. The home is comfortable and close to the beach. The master is upstairs. Three bedrooms in the house but the 4th is separate. The kids did not want to sleep out there. When we were there(July), there were too many bugs! It made us not want to be on the beach. Sonia and Marco who care for the house were very sweet. They do not speak much English, and her cooking was not great. There is a fabulous brick oven pizza place in Las Terrance, some really great restaurants, XO and El Lugar were top notch. We were there in the off season, July, so not many people. Playa Bonita beach is beautiful and only about 30-40 mins drive. All in all it is a beautiful home, relaxing atmosphere fun to be had if you go out and find it.

Excellent , as portrayed . Great location on a fantastic beach .

Property was as portrayed. Safe location on an amazing beach . Very private and no more than 20 people on it all week. Sonia and Marco took excellent care of us and nothing was too much trouble .inmiss them already! Great cooking , including fresh fish , langoustine , squid and octopus from the local spear fisherman ... Fishing 400 ft off our beach on the reef! We drove ourselves from Punta Cana. Took about 4 and a half hours . mostly new toll roads ... Some very pretty parts of the drive as you go round the edge of one of the national parks. Just need to watch out for motorbikes and scooters ( the vehicle of choice in the DR... Esp at night as headlights are clearly optional). The villa is about 15 mins drive from town center so good to have some transport if you are venturing out. We did the horse ride up to the Limon waterfall ( about 20 mins away) .. Loved it .. Some steep bits though so not for the faint hearted. Recommend ' las terrace ' restaurant and the oven fired pizza restaurant next door to it. Both on the beachside in town. Great vacation .

Perfect!

It is hard to find the words that adequately describe this amazing place! Hacienda Nadioushka is a lovely, spacious, comfortable home in an exquisite tropical setting with gorgeous views and just a 2 minute walk to the water. The home is beautifully furnished with everything one might need. Cyrus, the owner, provides very detailed directions and lots of information about tours, restaurants, etc. He is extremely helpful and attentive. We vacationed at Hacienda Nadioushka in February with our two daughters and their families - an incredible experience for everyone! Exceeded all expectations!!! Sonia and Marco are terrific - welcoming, helpful and fun! Sonia is a fabulous cook and took great care of us and the home throughout our stay. We dined outside on the spacious patio. We all loved Blackie, the mellow resident dog, who endears himself to everyone. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool day and night. The sandy beach is quite private (seldom saw other people) and is cleaned of kelp, etc. each morning - this eliminates flies and keeps mosquitos to a minimum. There is a sandy bottom beneath the beautiful Caribbean water and the water temperature is perfect. A security guard walks the beach 24 hours a day. We were very comfortable with the grandchildren walking back and forth between the house and the beach. The people of Las Terrenas are very friendly and much of the town maintains buildings and customs of many years ago. It is a very charming town with little markets, bakeries, a variety of shops and wonderful restaurants. We hope to return to Hacienda Nadioushka - it's the best if the best!! Paradise On Earth!

Hacienda Nadioushka is truly a home away from home, upon stepping onto the property you feel an immediate sense of peace, tranquility and relaxation. The description of the villa is so on point that it makes you feel like you have previously been there. Our group which consisted of two couples, one teenager and a 13 year old boy spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the pool, the beach and the year round remarkable weather. We took long walks through the back private road (which is guarded 24 hours a day) with Marcos and Blackie while Sonia prepared our delicious meals. Hacienda Nadioushka is a luxurious property with all the amenities of a five star hotel plus the priceless views and sounds of nature. At night we slept with the windows open ... The relaxing sound of the ocean's waves are still vivdly echoing in our minds. The owner Cyrus made the process extremely easy. His instructions and directions were precise which gave us a sense of trustworthiness and safety. Sonia and Marcos are very attentive and helpful. They strive to make guests feel comfortable. We look forward to vacationing in Hacienda Nadioushka again and would definitely recommend to our friends and family!

Getting spoiled

We (my family, consisting of my daughter, her husband and two girls, 4 and 6, my son and my significant other) spent one wonderful week in a beautiful and immaculate house and property with no necessity lacking (at least I couldn't find one) under the care of the friendly, kind and patient caretakers - Marco and Sonia. And Blackie the dog was there to "protect us" all the time and joined us for the morning walk half on the beach, half on the path toward the resorts that are in between this house and town. The property is right on the beach and although it is in a gated community, because it is literally the "last house on the block," you have a sense of seclusion and privacy. The dirt road (more of a pathway) in front of the house is watched by friendly guards literally, I think, 24 hours a day. My granddaughters were delighted to spend time on the beach beach-combing or just swimming and playing in a pool large enough for me to do my daily laps. We had plans to do a lot by ourselves - cooking, shopping, whatever, because that is usually what we do when we rent a house - but after the first night's meal, we surrendered to temptation and asked Sonia to prepare our evening meals. It was the best decision we made (other than picking the menu - e.g., langoustine (far better than the lobsters), red snapper, lambi, clams, pork, chicken all of which surpassed almost everything in town (there are some really good pizza places - Café Azul, La Vita E Bella and not your standard American pizza). The house is really close to town - 10 minutes on the scenic beach road - so going to town to get supplies at Super Pola (rum, tequila, beer, mixers breakfast food - try the Dominican super salami, lunch, milk, etc) was no problem and we would combine those excursions with stop at the French boulangerie, or the fruit stand or the hand-rolled cigar shop. LT is a delightful town that combines the Dominican culture with the various Italians and French who have made it their home - thus the good and varied food. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and now planning for a (longer) stay next year. See you soon Sonia

Beautiful and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. The setting is wonderful and very relaxing. Sonya is a very good cook - ask her for her rice and beans. The house is clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing on the beach and in the yard.

This is IT!

A++ - exceeded expectations.All the amenities and property photos are accurate and very, very nice. Little things mean a lot...the layout of the house and patio lent itself to different gathering venues..Some kids and adults, some adults,some just kids and some everyone including Blackie the dog and real owner of the home.. Sonia's local fresh delicious meals and Marco's demonstration of a coconut opening were unexpected delights. Not worrying about dinner, cleaning up and the possibility of a bad (expensive) dinner out was a hidden value. The owner, Cyrus treated us like friends or family and met all of our needs. I would recommend this amazing home for a family or couple's vacation to anyone and we hope to come back again soon!

Peaceful Serenity!

What an incredible experience for our first visit to the Dominican Republic. Living the hustle and bustle of the city life, my husband and I were looking for a serene, peaceful, relaxing vacation to take during the Thanksgiving holiday. I know, a million places could check-off those requirements, but did I mention we also had to entertain our two teenage kids? Searching high and low, we thought we found a beautiful property in the Hacienda Nadioushka, but soon after arrival we realized we found more than that, we found a true gem! There are no words to describe the home, the staff nor the owner Cyrus. Everything from initial contact to the last hours of our trip were nothing short of spectacular. Prior to the trip we received detailed information about directions, transportation, suggestions on must see activities and local favorite places to eat. Cyrus answered all my questions immediately and made the booking process easy. Upon arrival we were graciously greeted by Sonia and Marco who not only ensured we were comfortable and well fed (with Sonia’s fabulous Dominican fare), they also entertained us with their great stories and knowledge of the best things to do on the island when we were not swimming in the pool or playing on the beach. Sonia became our personal and trusted concierge, arranging and booking all our excursions from ATV’ing, horseback riding, fishing, massages at the house, to our trip to Limon. All were fabulous and definitely recommended. The house and property were private and well cared for with breathtaking views during the day and evening. The house was spacious and well laid out. The outdoor living space was where we spent most our time. Amazingly my husband and I found the tranquility we were looking for, and we were even more amazed to find our kids unplug from the internet and enjoy the simple things the property had to offer; swimming, sitting in the sun, playing on the beach, snorkeling, cards, chess, and reading. Thank you Cyrus, Sonia and Marco for the most amazing vacation!
