This quiet forested hilltop haven townhouse is a great get-away and yet only 2.5 miles from the center of Eugene and a little over a mile from the UO Campus. Cool breezes and the shady tree canopy give it a vacation get-away feel from every room. Nearby restaurants and close access to all the UO athletic activities, downtown cultural events, and area wineries make this the perfect home-base for your vacation.

Completely renovated this 2 bedroom 1.5 bath 2-story home has a modern, eclectic feel and features plenty of comfortable seating whether in the living room, front deck, or back patio. Stretch out on our leather couch or in our comfy leather recliners with ottomans and cozy throws. A fold-out table is nestled right in front of the huge picture window for a great workspace, game area, or gathering space for bigger meals. Enjoy our SMART TV and log in to your favorite TV streaming!

_____ BEDROOMS _____
The two bedrooms offer great separation of space upstairs and feature two of the top comfort mattress available. Come home and sink into a Tuft and Needle queen size mattress with luxurious bedding in our western-themed room. Or try out a Purple queen mattress in our nature-themed room. Extra pillows of various firmness, linens and blankets are stored in each bedroom closet. Each bedroom has alarm clocks and reading lamps plus a sitting corner and looks out into the tree canopy.

We make it easy for you to make yourself at home with a fully equipped kitchen that’s ready to serve you with a cute and casual bistro table. Cook your own meals! Reheat your left-overs! Make your breakfast smoothies! Enjoy eating on the private backyard garden deck or on the front side deck off the living room where you can watch the world go by, including our local flock of turkeys.

Fire danger is very real in this highly wooded old forest area! No outdoor grilling! No smoking of any kind, inside or out!

_____ GARDEN & DECKS __ ___
Take time to enjoy the native plants in our backyard garden including Bleeding Heart, Sword and Deer Fern, Red Flowering Current, Oregon Grape, Bunch Berry, Snowberry, Piggyback plants, a Star Magnolia tree, and many others. Be aware that being in the middle of a park can play havoc if you are prone to allergies! Be sure to come prepared if that describes you. If you forget, you will find a convenience packet of Claritin (or something similar) in the upstairs bathroom!

Because we are in the woods, there is no grassy yard area but if you walk to Hendricks Park just around the corner you will find swings, picnic tables, drinking fountain, public bathrooms and pathways winding throughout the woods, Native Plant and Rhododendron Gardens!

____ SECURITY CAMERAS ____
For your security we have video cameras monitoring each of our doors: front door, deck slider, backyard slider and driveway. For your privacy there are NO interior cameras of any kind.

____ PARKING ____
There is NO "on-street" parking for this unit. The tree-lined winding roads are part of the charm but parking in this hilly, forested neighborhood can be challenging. Many neighbors have carved out private parking areas in front of their houses. Unfortunately, because our home is on a steep corner we don’t have that. While we don’t have street parking for you, we do have a PRIVATE SINGLE ATTACHED GARAGE AND DRIVEWAY where you can park. The driveway is steep but we just put in stairs and handrails that have a gradual grade and are well-lit which make a huge difference.
